Derwent Apartment is spacious accommodation finished to an excellent standard. The apartment is situated on the first floor with a private ground floor entrance. There is a kitchen/dining room equipped with everything you need to rustle up for your favourite breakfast before heading out for the day. A family bathroom with shower over bath, two kingsize bedrooms both with TV’s and one of them being zip and link being made into twin beds on request. Lastly there is a spacious living room with comfortable seating and large TV.
As the gateway to the beautiful Peak District National Park, an abundance of Peak District towns and villages such as Edale, Castleton, and the famous spa town of Buxton are all within a 30-minute drive, together with the ever-popular market town of Bakewell and magnificent Chatsworth House, 45 minutes away. Slightly closer to home you’ll find the award-winning Millennium Walkway, and superb Torr’s sandstone gorge at New Mills, 15 minutes away. The wonderful village of Hayfield neighbours Glossop and is popular with walkers due its close proximity to Kinder Scout. Hayfield caters well for tourists with its own collection of pubs, cafés and restaurants. If you’re looking for city life, the bright lights of Manchester are just a half hour’s drive away, or 30 minutes on a direct train from Glossop. Shop 170 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

I can't imagine a nicer place to stay in the Glossop area. We will always stay here on future trips.
