Staff were all friendly. Food was very good. Only drawback was the checking in time as the very latest time was 10.30 pm which with a three and an hour drive, after a meeting, was quite challenging.

Lovely stay
Lovely one nights stay. Smart, clean room with a very comfortable bed. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a real treat and worth the additional charge.

Was upset at check in, because I felt we had paid Expedia for our breakfast, but Ross told us that breakfast had not been included. So we had to fork out an extra £60 (for 2 of us for 2 mornings) so costing £246 for 2 nights stay, it was not good value!. In addition, there was only one hand towel for 2 of us, no spare toilet roll and we had to ask for a 2nd pillow each. For £15 each, I would call the breakfasts average, with just 1 of each item plus some very watery button mushrooms.

Another Night Away.
Room 12. Overlooking the roof with the kitchen extractor - when the windows shut barely audible but at 0630 with no background noise it was quite loud. You couldn’t leave the windows open in this current heat wave

Room was small but clean and had everything needed. Located near a retail park and industrial estate, but pleasant pub garden. Sandwiches were as basic as they come, but breakfast looked good. Peaceful and quiet overnight.

More a motel with a very popular pub attached that does good pub food - rooms are clean and comfortable and ideal for a short stay - staff very helpful and friendly.
