I loved the size and cleanliness of the room and the limited ocean view. But my room did not have a telephone. The patio to sit and watch the light show was covered due to the first floor location which was nice. What I did not like was being a person with limited mobility who uses a cane and not having parking at the door to my room. Rooms without a view had parking directly in front. This was the first time I ever booked online and now know to call for details before booking in the future with any hotel.

The front desk person was so accommodating. We had a suger ant issue the first night and he was quick to get us another room. A discount for the first night would have been nice as the ant infestation was pretty severe around a wine glass I left on night stand and my lotion. If I had known, I would not have left these items out.

What a great value for all you get! We stayed here on the way north along the Coast, and were attracted to reserving this room, based on the online description of the light show. We were not disappointed at all - the facility is great! Walking down to the beach after sunset was pretty amazing, with the lower lawn area lit up quite tastefully. The room was clean and well-appointed with all we needed. We found the bed to be very comfortable. I had a chance to visit the hot tub, which is also clean and well-maintained. We'll definitely be back again soon.

Unbeatable location with direct access to the beach. Great view. Stayed at a dog friendly room. This is the definition of no frills hotel.Comfortable beds. Clean linens. Seemed clean, until we noticed scum on the bathroom sink :/ Equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. Room has a deck with 2 rocking chairs. Nice and quiet light show on trees at night. Could do with a little decor, like headboards on beds and/or some art on walls. Also the 2 chairs in the room around the little table, were a mismatched poor afterthought.

Bad experience!

We asked for a non pet room, and we were told that it was a non pet room, but it smelled like a pet had been in there. We shared that with the front desk, and only got a “I am sorry response.” It was dead slow, and they could of put us in a room that smelled half way decent.

The front desk person was wonderful and very helpful. We ran into several glitches including our tv not working, our key card would open our door but not the hot tub room and lights outside our room wouldn’t come on so it was dark unloading the car. We loved having two bedrooms for the price and everything was clean. The Christmas laser show was fun and unique.
