Grounds were nice but the apartment was in very stale and old condition, it felt like staying in an old unused grandmas apartment. I would not stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Location across from the beach was great. The Beach Shack Cafe is the only close place to eat near by and closed mid afternoon.
Unit was good up needed the dirty worn carpets replaced.
Kid friendly but I probably wouldn't book again based on location of things to do.
The property was well located. It is basically an apartment building (not a hotel) and you are renting a condo. You get keys, and the beach is well located across the street. There are clearly full time tenants/owners also in the building from the state of the garage. Also many families there, and it seems well suited to family vacations (if you don't like screaming kids then FYI). There are no restaurants or stores in walking distance so buying groceries ahead is necessary. There are few cool restaurants or bars to walk to so Uber is a good idea. The decoration and furniture is a bit dated, but it was clean. Also, do your own dishes or you will be charged, there was a sign on the counter about that. The view from our unit was great, though, we could see the surf.
I hated the planes flying overhead, the TV was malfunctioning. There were signs threatening to charge if washing up and rubbish disposal wasnt attended prior to exit.

Liked: Staff & service
Very nice location, great outlook and very close to beach.
Apartment needs updating, however the beds, linen and towels were of good quality.
Planes coming into land, low overhead are really the only downside.

Liked: Room comfort
Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Good location, disappointing cleanliness
The property is directly under the the approach to Coolanagatta airport
The bathrooms were not clean - there were rusty bobby pins on the edge of the bath, soap from the previous occupiers was in the corner of the shower recess and there was mould between the tiles in both bathrooms.
There was not free wi fi
There are no lifts - 32 steps to our room
There was no advance notification that maintenance had caused under cover parking to be unavailable
The apartment was spacious and functional
The view is magnificent
Plenty of walking close by
The managers are very helpful - assisting with carrying the luggage
A perfect location for the reason we were staying. The room was spacious, we had three of us staying in a two bedroom apartment, lots of room to spread out. The bathroom was a little small but given it was a short stay, it didn't impact on the overall stay.
This property was very nice. The units I believe are individually owned and the one that we stayed in was perfect. Clean, tidy and well maintained. The only negative thing I can mention (which cant be improved by the hotel) is the fact that it is located directly under the Coolangatta airport flight path so the plans are about 150m from the roof as they come in to land. It was great for us because our kids absolutely love planes
Poor communication from owners- but splendid view.
Access to this premises was completely shut down during the Commonwealth Games- this was not mentioned prior to booking. We were unable to get taxi/transport/Uber within 3km walk which made travelling with luggage difficult.
No air conditioning or wi-fi but great view.
Value for money not great.
Outdated & old decor. Stained carpets & mouldy blinds. Floors not totally clean?
Balcony not been cleaned in years!??
Balcony doors dont lock.
4 flights of stairs - no lift & no help with luggage.
Seaview means - partial seaview.
No free wifi.
You are charged $100 if you dont remove your rubbish from room?
Sheets & towels clean.
Spacious apartment.
Was upgraded to a ground floor when noticed we had a problem with stairs with our friend. Very considerate of our needs. Very quiet area, clean spacious rooms. No problems recommending this hotel. Must have car to go places as not in walking distance. Beach a little walk away but has good views even on ground floor.
The view from the unit is wonderful as is its convenience. The unit itself is spacious and clean. The only drawback is the noise from the planes flying directly overhead to the nearby airport.
Just minutes from gold coast airport. Staff really good and helpful on arrival. Property really well maintained and pool area just the same. Very secure property. Our room was quite nice looking straight out over the beach and ocean, with surfers paradise as a backdrop. Easy access to public transport and just a few minutes from shops. All in all a very good place to stay. Thankyou
Large rooms, friendly staff & perfect for families
My family had a quick getaway for a few days. Little Cove was a great place to go between central and southern Gold Coast districts. Excellent ocean views and lots of room for a family.
Enjoyed a two night stay whilst passing through. Sufficient local amenities for our short stay but would prefer more local restaurants , cafe's , bars etc if staying longer. When asked about wifi facilities was told to contact Marconi direct to arrange a contract , this was not possible especially as we were only staying for two days. ALmost every 4 star venue I have stayed at in recent years have included wifi.
We're local to the Gold Coast and were just looking for somewhere convenient to stay for Buskers by the Creek, which happens every year in October right on the banks of Currumbin Creek. Little Cove surprised us with its incredible view over the Currumbin Estuary, down to Burleigh Headland and all the way to Surfers Paradise. The weather was terrible, so we also got to watch these beautiful big storms rolling in from the Pacific Ocean.
The apartment was big enough for two mums with energetic boys, the pool was warm (after swimming in the creek) and the kitchen was very well equipped (right down to spare tupperware containers, a baby bottle and party platters).
The only downside is that the "roof" over the balcony is just a piece of shade cloth. We didn't pay much attention and left books, phones etc on the table before the storm hit. Rookie error. The balcony can't really be used if it's raining as there is no undercover space at all. But the loungeroom shares the same epic view, so we survived.
Can't recommend the location highly enough. You can walk to SWELL Sculpture Festival or Buskers by the Creek, the surf beach and creek are both a stones throw. If you like to walk, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is also just 1km or so away.
Winning!
We had a wedding to attend at Elephant Rock so this was the perfect location. We are from Sydney so we had my mum stay with us to look after our kids, she had her own bedroom and bathroom and she loved it. The apartment was spacious and we would 110% stay there again. The view was incredible too! (apartment 33)
