Perfect location
Room was fantastic as far as space and view goes. Bed was average as well as shower. Lifts were a nightmare as you waited a long time. Parking and surrounding area was awsome .

Overall fairly happy with the property However, I feel either peppers soul or wotif could have notified that schoolies was on, due to schoolies beach party with DJ’s thumping music until midnight wasn’t great, especially with two small children. I was unaware as I don’t have teenage children that schoolies was on at that time. I also think for the price of which it is to stay at peppers soul I don’t feel school or children should be able to rent out rooms, the lifts were congested with schoolers drunk, Baluchi bottles left in the lifts an just generally at night coming an going from rooms slamming doors. Had I known there was an organized beach party every night for schoolers across the road literally, I would have postponed my trip.

2 of the rooms were locked upon arrival. The kitchen tap and (full) toilet flush need fixing. Nothing to clean the kitchen with so went & bought my own. All good otherwise.

View was great, reception staffs were friendly however, housekeeping seem to be very understaffed, waited till 3pm for a clean which we were already back to the place for a rest and had to leave again because of it. Also, do not pay extra for breakfast, worst breakfast in a 5 star stay ive ever experienced. Save your money and get mecca breakie next door is 10 time better...

Great location, hotel feeling quite run down
This is our second stay at Soul in Surfer’s Paradise. Unfortunately now it is feeling quite run down and unclean. There was mould in the bathrooms and on the balcony door handles, the furniture had rips in it, the corridors and room had a very stale scent. The ladder into one of the spas was broken and indoor pool felt dirty and had a sandy floor. What was once quite a grand hotel is now feeling quite tired. A cot wasn’t provided in our room on check in as requested during booking, however brought up soon after by guest services. This was also dirty and felt quite uncomfortable. Our room was ready early for checkin which was convenient, however late check out wasn’t available. Very convenient location being in the heart of Surfers but in need of a good clean.
