I expected that this apartment would be old, but it was also not clean in many areas: pots had food grease in them, floors were not totally clean, there was hair stuck to the ensuite shower wall, cushions were stained, plates and cutlery were gritty, and ants swarmed on any food left on the bench for more than 2 minutes (on the 3rd floor!). Also, the microwave had a non-functional turntable in it, so it was unsafe to use (food burnt in some areas and remained frozen in others). There were also barely enough blankets for the beds and they were also of dubious cleanliness. I would not stay here again.

Good location as its right in front of beach , beautiful sunrise view is spectaculars. Some floors smells bad otherwise its ok with this budget. Property manager is co operative and easy going.

Unpleasant Odors: The accommodation had a persistent and unpleasant smell, making our stay uncomfortable and displeasing. Leaking air conditioner. Constant wet & leaky Kitchen floor : (as per Photos attached), leading to slippery surfaces. Unfortunately, our children slipped twice due to this issue, raising serious concerns about safety. Dirty Kitchen Utensils & Plates: The kitchenware provided was in a deplorable condition (photos attached of a broken pair of tongues). Plates and utensils were visibly dirty, posing a health risk for anyone using them. Missing Toilet Paper Holder in the ensuite bathroom (see photos) : inconveniencing us and creating an unsanitary environment. Peeling Wallpaper: The walls of our accommodation were adorned with peeling wallpaper, which not only looked unappealing but also raised questions about the overall maintenance of the property. Non-functional TV Remotes: The TV remotes provided did not work, depriving us of the basic amenities that were expected during our stay. No vacuum Cleaner was supplied for us to clean (that's a basic inclusion) No mop supplied to dry up the

It was a lovely, clean and safe apartment with amazing views. Great for families with a brilliant location, close to food, shops and a tram station over the road from a stunning beach. Had a lovely clean outdoor pool and an indoor one as well, overall thoroughly recommend

Convenient location, although we had the bad luck of a meriton being constructed in front of us, so it ruined our beach view and loud noise began at 7am every day. The inside pool and sauna were nice. We had a few request to accommodate our baby's needs and they didn't provide, just wanted to charge overpriced for renting it. We rent a cot and it was in bad conditions. TV in the bedroom didn't have a cable to connect it, just the power cable. We have a crawling baby and we kept finding dirt under the furniture, lots, including a Pepsi can!! Never offered to clean it and worst yet, there are no cleaning supplies at the apartment, except for a broom, but nothing to pick up??? WiFi didn't work properly also. When we email management for help with this issues, they ignore us, and almost at the end of our stay, replied to some emails (ie. WiFi issue) saying we could contact the number in the modem, instead of calling them or coming to check the issue. Really disappointed and never staying here again!!!

The property was very unclean. We booked for a 5 night stay. On the very first night we noticed the floors were all very sticky, the blankets were all so dusty and dirty that we had to wash it before use. The apartment itself is in a very old condition with no centralised AC and the amenities provided were absolute minimal - like no soap, no salt, sugar , oil , not even floor mats etc. The worst part was the last day before vacating where they put a notice saying we have to clean everything and put it in the cupboard before leaving saying that’s their policy. Two questions : 1. If you care so much about the policy, then doesn’t your policy tell that you need to give the property in a good condition before letting it out. 2. Basic cleaning is understandable. But If we have to make sure everything is so organised before we leave, what is the point of paying the money for ? Expedia should have advised about the condition of the house and the amenities provided will only be minimal. I would rate 0 for this property . The only good thing is the location which is so close to the prime centre of surfers paradise
