Nice but noisy - take time to read the listing.

Julie is a lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. Space is large and comfortable, decorated in a personal and delightful way. Lovely garden areas have been created. I knew from reading the listing that we would be in the ground floor of a two story home. I forgot to connect that upstairs activity can translate to downstairs noise. As late risers that did not work for us. Julie mentioned that she had thought we were out and that is fair enough. If you are up and out early it may not be an issue and you will have a comfortable stay. Location for us (visiting family) was great and it is super close to theme parks if that is your reason for visiting the area.

How noise can ruin a great accommodation

The accommodation was as listed, very clean and everything one needs. The only down side was the noise from the hosts upstairs home. It was constant - foot noise (sounded like a elephant walk), chairs being dragged on floor and why would you vacuum the floors before 7.30am in the morning, dogs barking whenever we entered or left or went outside of our accommodation. On this basis I would not come back to this house nor would I recommend it if you wanted a quiet holiday stay. It is such a shame as the home itself had everything you would want. I know that you are thinking why did they not say something to the hosts. Well we did re the noise from the extremely heavy footed person. Nothing changed.

Lovely quiet location to recharge after a busy day

This property is well located for people wanting to explore the gold coast and hinterland. Night times are peaceful after exploring all day.

Julie was lovely to speak to and super welcoming. Didn’t realise it would be a shared property but I didn’t read the description properly (Stayz is supposed to be whole holiday homes?). Didnt mind the dogs but they had been in our room when we weren’t there (and left a present) which was a bit annoying. The place itself is a lovely little space.

Welcoming host and pretty area. The mattress seems very old and I could feel the springs, so suggest replacing.
