Our two-bed apartment was very spacious and first rate, and in easy walking distance of a selection of restaurants and shops. It had everything we wanted ...except oven gloves, which really need to be provided. There were a couple of other 'negatives' (although we would happily stay at Xanadu again). Only two dishwasher tablets were provided for a 4 night stay, so annoying to have to buy more. (Not the sort of thing you pack!) We had problems with the internet and although the router was replaced immediately, we had continuing problems keeping devices connected.

The Xanadu Apartments (North and East Tower) are extremely enjoyable, right across the street from the beach. Main Beach is a quiet and upscale area which is just what I want for a relaxing vacation -- a short 2-3 block walk gets you to Tedder Avenue where there are some nice restaurants.

Great property
Great views if you get the nicer rooms. Unfortunately there were tiny ants in the bathroom as well as in the kitchen which crawled over to our food stuff in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. After hours checkin was a bit of a pain to get sorted noting that they wanted another holding deposit over phone while we wait for the building access. Other than that, it was great.

A very suitable location, close to our wedding ceremony/ wedding reception location at the Southport Yacht Club. We enjoyed our beautifully refurbished two bedroom apartment on the 23rd floor. So clean, so much space, filled with sunlight and amazing views of the surf beach.
