My husband, 14-year old daughter and our small dog stayed here for a few nights to explore the area. We liked the central location between Grants Pass and Ashland, but it is not near many services, restaurants, etc. if that is what you are looking for.
Pluses: right on the river, although you can't get down to the river as there's a drop off; lovely deck and fenced outdoor area for the dog; very private and away from other houses which we liked with parking right in front; very comfortable house with good beds, well equipped kitchen with big island, smart TV, washer/dryer, and very cute decor. They did a good job with the renovation.
There were a couple minuses in case these things are important to you. The house is very close to the highway so you can hear the freeway noise when you are sitting outside. A/C is a mini split in the living room which is great, but neither bedroom has A/C and the cool air didn't flow too well into these rooms. The bedroom with the queen bed has a small window which didn't provide much of a breeze at night but having it open helped. The back bedroom on the river with the two twin beds got pretty hot, and although it has a large window, unfortunately, there was no screen. A window screen would make this bedroom so much better to get breezes from the river at night.
The host was also very responsive through the app which is always appreciated. Overall, this house was a great value and we'd stay here again!
