Initial check-in was a little messed up since the door code didn't work for the key lock. Contacted the owner, and received additional codes that also didn't work. Luckily the housekeeper lived close, and was able to bring a key by so we could enter the property. The house was nice and small, but comfortable to an overnight. Be careful though, if you're taller than about 5'9, you'll hit the ceiling fans with your head. Bed was comfortable, and water pressure was decent, so no complaints there. I was a little skeptical driving into the property, because there were a lot of worn down (maybe abandoned) houses, but once we arrived, I felt better. No traffic in the area since it sits very close to the end of the road. I would stay again for an overnight, but probably wouldn't for a longer stay. There's no barrier between the two beds, so my son had to listen to me snore all night...LOL. Also, there was no welcome book of how to check in/out, internet password, etc. Would have been nice to have the internet password (did eventually get it, but not until later in the evening), since cellular service in the area was very sketchy. Overall, it was a pleasurable experience, and I would recommend to family/friends if no other options are available. Even with the minor issues, I'm still giving this place 5 stars.
