The place is absolutely gorgeous in the morning, weather permitting. The resort is quiet, secluded and serene in its setting. There’s no mobile network on property and no tvs in the room making the experience truly relaxing, ensuring you breakaway from the 24x7 connectivity life to soak into natures bounty. The lake is breathtakingly beautiful and serene. Only the food choices are limited, and pricey as you will have to dine in at resort restaurants. No outside food is permitted on property.
Great experience so far. Absolutely stunning location and friendly staff

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The environment is incredible. Nothing beats the pristine lake encased by mountains. It’s quiet and serene in the lodge area. In the public area at the bottom it’s crowed and noisy.
The facility is showing its age, especially the wood. The railing on our private balcony needs replacing or a good sanding as it was very rough and slivery. The plug-ins in our room were worn out to the point of being unable to hold a cord properly. (Safety concern and a nuisance)
The food was incredible! Expensive but worth it. There were even a number of gluten free options. The dessert menu was disappointing for gf choices.
The shuttle to and from parking was ok, but not in the pouring rain. While waiting after checkout for the bus there is no cover to stand under. There is about 6-8 feet of covered luggage space, but not covered human space. By the time we waited for the second shuttle we were soaked.
The staff were accommodating and invested in our experience.
We would go back in spite of no wifi, cell service or parking but only in the off season as it is not worth prime season rates.
Views even better than pictures! Great service at property, we came in October so missed out on canoeing and other summer activities bit still worth it
This was our first time at this property, it’s an amazing place with incredible scenery, the bar , lounge areas and dining are five star with an incredible history. The beds need an update to really hit it out of the park, there should also be automatic bell service, overall a nice place
I love this place, one of my favourite places on earth, the staff is beyond kind, especially the shuttle driver “Jen”.
The only critique I have is that the beds are a bit stiff

Loved the room with the fireplace and firewood and starter immediately available loved the restaurant and the lobby. The place looks like it needs an upgrade though- looking at cabin roofs and area fences . Staff were very friendly and helpful
Went for the weekend, a very beautiful place to enjoy the outdoors. We really enjoyed the lounge in the lodge with the fireplace. Very attentive staff.
Emerald Lake Lodge is absolutely stunning! The lake view rooms are the best! Staff were friendly and helpful. The shuttle service staff were very friendly and informative!
This was our second visit to this spectacular, magical wonder!! The most serene and beautiful place to experience! A huge shoutout to Chef Val Morrison for making our 2nd Wedding Anniversary visit memorable with the same cake she had made 2 years ago for our wedding at the lodge! Great attention to details and such excellent menus! Thank you for another amazing stay!!
