Hotel was definitely dated. Room was clean and bed was ok. Breakfast was terrible and the body wash in the shower was out and there was no soap to substitute! Not my favorite place to stay

The hotel is a bit older, but combined with the location and price its a good deal. If you just need an economical hotel to sleep for the night it is a good place to rest.

The room has been updated but it still looks a bit “tired” BUT it has a great kitchen with a full size stove and fridge. I was just there for the night but it is great to know for the future. The person who checked me in was very nice and changed my room from the 2nd floor to ground level which I appreciated. The best part was complimentary breakfast. They actually cooked the eggs, sausage and potatoes on site and didn’t use frozen precooked “hot” food. They had a great selection of cold breakfast options along with juice, tea and coffee. The breakfast made this motel a great value. I will definitely stay again.

Its clean and modern and a good price for those who do not want to be frivolous while traveling. The night guy was pretty excellent and had every thing ready when I arrived.

Ponderosa Motel through Hotels.com
I made reservations to stay at the Ponderosa Motel last week. When we arrived it was getting dark, and the front office was locked, so we rang the bell and waited. Nobody came. We called and rang the doorbell continuously...nobody came. I knocked on the door behind the office, where I figured the person working stays. No answer. Another couple came and tried, as well. We waited in the dark for an hour, which was kinda unsafe feeling at that time of night and we were exhausted from driving. Finally, thinking maybe the employee or owner had a heart attack or something, we called the police. They came and entered the back door. The dude was sleeping or passed out and not answering. After the police left, it took him another 15 minutes to come to the office and he never said a word about it or apologized. So weird and unprofessional. Had we not called the police, we likely would have been with nowhere to stay. Do not book this hotel.

Second time staying the man at the front desk is the most unfriendly person I have ever met for somebody controlling the front desk you would think would have a smile and a happy demeanor it's almost like you're a bother that you're there not a smile not a nothing upon check-in our room wasn't even ready and that was at 2:00 room 110 the housekeeper was out front and said give her a few minutes and she'll finish the room we got inside we had dirty covers bathroom was dirty refrigerator was dirty microwave was dirty cobwebs in the corner and every morning just about 10:00 you get housekeeper beating on your door saying oh I wasn't sure if you were there or not when the checkout is 11:00 Sharp lady stop knocking on our door before 11:00 and if you're supposed to be housekeepers please clean the rooms disgusting filth
