The ultimate in views and creature comforts for your South Coast holiday. Located just meters to the beach, this architecturally designed expansive 2 storey, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom stunning home offers luxury living and picturesque views to the ocean and along the coast.

Comprising 2 spacious open plan living areas both with wide TV, CD, DVD and undercover garaging. R/C aircond, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, dryer and billiard table.

The ensuite in the main bedroom contains a spa bath. Front upper entertaining deck and lower entertaining area featuring a life size chess set.

Locality

It is meters from one of the best surfing beaches in South Australia. It is walking distance the mouth of the River Murray. There are restaurants and a supermarket located nearby.

Within walking distance of the South Lakes Golf Course and has two other very good golf courses within a short drive. Easy access to Currency Creek, Mclaren Vale and Langhorne Creek wineries.

Goolwa is a very picturesque town with Art and craft shops.

Outstanding property to stay in

This properties location was 10/10. Absolute beachfront with an AMAZING view. Shops and Main Street a very short distance away. Property has an enormous amount of space together with two balconies, two seperate living areas, games and pool table to keep everyone entertained.Definitely recommend!!!!!!

Huge house ,with 2 almost separate living areas ,which is good for a large group of people.We were 6 adults and 2 children ,and there was plenty of space.There was plenty of crockery,cutlery and cooking utensils.So close to the beach and Kuti shack cafe right next door.Lots of mozzies around ,so be prepared! Extremely comfortable house,which everyone enjoyed very much.The views upstairs was magic.No negatives really-the cleanliness was not perfect ,but with such a huge house it would be hard to clean everything The house was a bit tired but with the amount of traffic going through ,it would be expected .Rosemary was a terrific host ,and extremely helpful.Highly recommend

Property was not up to standard of cleanliness to the many places we have stayed. We had mice throughout the top floor. We left the property cleaner than when we arrived. Location good.

Family birthday

We stayed at Waves Edge with our family for twins 18th. The property is in a great location and has all of the amenities you could need. Kitchen has every appliance you can think of. There is plenty of entertainment for the family and loads of space. Communication with the owner is excellent. Highly recommend this property for any stay.

Relax right by the beach

Had a three family gathering, plenty of space. Pool table was popular. The views are amazing and beds very comfortable. Such a short distance to beach, kids went down every day. Coffee shop right at beach as well.

This is an ideal location, practically on the beach it’s so close. The pool table was a big hit too. Goolwa Beach is stunning and watching the sunsets from the balcony was mesmerising.

Review of the holiday home

Rosemary (owner) is exceptional. Very helpful and supportive. Excellent location for us as a family and fortunately a few clear and dry days. Facilities were very good. Upper floor fridge had an odour and build up of ice inside. I cleaned it and it was fine, however may need defrosting or replacing in the future. This not a criticism at all, just feedback. The games and other amenities were excellent. We all had a great time.

Perfect location and stunning views. Large sized property with all the amenities. Would have been a star in its day. It is feeling quite worn though; needs a deep clean, lick of paint and some maintenance on the property. Once it's had a bit of maintenance and love I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

A wonderfully appointed home that is a stone's throw from the beach.

Fantastic panoramic views to be enjoyed in all weather conditions. The pool table was a hit with the kids as were the two lounge areas - plenty of room. There were ample provisions in both kitchens as well as appliances. The beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful. A wonderful location to relax and unwind. We enjoyed staying here, with an extended family of nine, there was lots to do. Snooker table and chess sets, or just lounging in the two living rooms. it was very close to the beach and there was also a restaurant 2 mins away.

Great Stay

Stayed here for 4 nights with 2 other couples. Plenty of space to spread out and a bathroom for each couple. The kitchen was well equiped with anything you might need. The pool table downstairs got a good work out. There are a lot of stairs so if you are mobility impaired this may prove a problem. Only a 2 min walk to thre Goolwa surf life saving club which serves drinks and meals Thursday to Sunday. Rosemary was a perfect host . Excellent communication.

Relaxing Getaway

This house was perfect for 3 families. Our teenage sons enjoyed the space downstairs to relax away from the adults. Everything we needed was supplied, plenty of cookware and crockery. It was great not having to bring our own linen and towels as well. Rosemary was very easy to deal with and a great host. Thanks for sharing your home with us Rosemary, we hope to stay again!

Conveniently located close to the beach

The house is indeed the closest one to the beach - literally just off the entrance of Goolwa beach. It is good for large groups - plenty of space for everyone. The pool table was a great bonus as we’ve used it most of the time. The rooms were inviting and cozy. Whole house could do with a little bit of spring cleaning, but overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Rosemary has been very accommodating and kind from first contact and even after we’ve checked out. No doubt, we’ll be back again. 👍
