Mixed review, and based on room 17.
I'll start with the positives:
Great location for Ullevi stadium concerts, Liseberg amusement park, restaurants and just very centrally placed for all I wanted to see and do.
The bedding was comfortable and this would have been a great deal in light of Coldplay playing to 60k fans nearby.
Now the negatives:
The blinds were broken and with very see through curtains and the time of year, it was a very light room once daylight broke.
The vent in the room was making a terrible sound all night. I woke up during the first night thinking I could hear police sirens in the distance and was listening to the sound for maybe a hour because I thought chaos and disorder had broken out in the city. I had had a late night though as I continued out after the concert and i'd mostly forgotten about it the next morning. The second night, I could hear the sounds all night again, only this time I traced it to the vent near the door. It sounded like an old computer game loading from a cassette, mixed with other noises like a dialing tone, sirens etc. I filmed this on my phone both from the corridor (where it was silent), to inside the room, where it was noisy (and driving me mad) and gave me a very poor night of broken sleep after the previous poor night of sleep. So the light and noise issues are 2 very poor combinations for a light sleeper and had I known what to expect, I would have stayed elsewhere, even if it would have cost twice as much.
