Large Apartment / Great Experience
We really enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Apartments. The owner was very friendly and was able to communicate in English with me well. Their location was well located between Garmisch and Zugspitze/ Eisbee Lake area. The train station is right across the street if you need it but it is quiet and only runs during the day. Our apartment was large and would be a great place to stay with a family. I would stay here again.

We arrived early and we were allowed to check in early. We had apartment D and it was very clean and everything you would need was in there. There are two separate "rooms" with a king size bed. There are no doors to those. The owner was great and accommodated us. One big plus is that the front door is always locked and it will only open with a tag that is on your key ring. The view of the mountains was amazing.

Great!!
We were late getting in due to the road closure between Austria and Germany heading to Garmisch, but the owner was great and left the key for us with instructions at the front. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our view of the alps from the balcony. It has a decent sized shower stall as far as European shower sizes go. We had breakfast there our last day (which you must request ahead of time), and the owner put together a great spread for just the two of us, and even made us fresh boiled eggs. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English. Be sure to have some cash Euro on you to pay the city taxes if they were not included in your reservation. The Wifi also was strong - we never had any issues with the Wifi.

Loved the location, room and and especially the patio and back yard. Train and good cafe across the street, Really nice owners. Wish we had a fan in room to stir the air. That would have made it perfect.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this apartment. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The apartment was Perfect for our family of four. The kitchen was perfect for cooking food we purchased nearby at Aldi. There was outside seating and tables, as well. The location is great for exploring Garmisch, Eibsee, Zugspitze, etc. I wish we had planned more time in this alpine town and staying at Buchenhof Alpine Apartments. It was so peaceful and my family loved it there!

Nice German Alp Retreat
We loved the location of this hotel and the price for what you get. A little kitchenette with a dishwasher, small range and microwave along with a balcony were nice little touches that this hotel offered. Check in and out was easy, though the check out time is very limiting compared to hotels (8-10am). This spot was close to an Aldi for shopping, the Eibsee and Zugspitze for touring and close to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for more food options. The only complaint was that we went in summer time and there was no window for airflow that we could open and the duvets were really heavy and flannel.

A cute apartment with plenty of room for the 4 of us. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and nicely stocked. A short walk to the bus and we were easily able to get into town or to a train station.

Location is good, apartment was nice and clean, but it was very cold inside. Management had all radiant heaters off except one. We turned all on high, but almost five hours later the apartment had only reached 16 degrees Celsius. We had luckily brought extra blankets, but even with them it was difficult to warm up to sleep.

Beautiful view, although not of the zugspitze peak. Perfect little apartment for a short or long stay in the area. The only negatives: we wished there was firmer pillows. The host came to our room during our stay, while we weren't there (since the lights were opened at night when we came back from our day), but the room wasn't cleaned in anyway. So we aren't sure why someone came to our room.

Eine sehr tolle Unterkunft. Absolut zu empfehlen. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Total freundlicher Empfang durch den Chef der jederzeit hilfsbereit war. Der Hund war auch sehr willkommen.
