Don't be deceived by the positive reviews. Our experience at the property was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, there was no receptionist available, and we had to search for codes in the email just to enter the property. The moment we stepped into the room, an unpleasant smell of smoke or mold hit us, triggering my sensitivity and causing constant coughing. Furthermore, everything in the room appeared old and worn-out, and to add to the discomfort, there was no curtain on the window, leaving us with no privacy.
Attempts to contact the owner for resolution proved fruitless as we received no response. In desperation, I reached out to hotels.com to explore the possibility of changing the room or canceling the reservation. Sadly, we were informed that the booking was non-refundable. Left with no choice, we had to book another hotel, resulting in the loss of our two-night accommodation costs. It was a disappointing and regrettable experience overall.
