Our Gray Moose Retreat is a modern, spacious, open floor plan 1-bedroom, 1-bath luxury condo which abounds with amenities, including a heated parking garage, and it sleeps 4. (maximum number of guests allowed is 4, (2 adults only per stay w/ 2 children under 18) Must be 25 years of age or older to rent. Due to the size of the condo, long term rentals are limited to a maximum number of 2 guests. **Long term rentals are not permitted during ski season. Our property has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Along with a list of contemporary luxuries, our condo features large living spaces with unobstructed views. It has a spacious, wonderfully decorated den with relaxing furniture, including a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, stone surround romantic gas fireplace, and a large flat screen tv. The patio with a fabulous view has comfortable outdoor seating. The well-equipped kitchen has granite counter-tops and brand-new stainless-steel appliances. There is an electric cook-top, full oven, overhead microwave, dishwasher, beautiful cabinetry, and most everything you will need for your mountain vacation. The kitchen has a blender, crock pot, mixer, coffee pot, pans, utensils, and dishes to make meal preparation easy. You can even stop back in for lunch and be back on the mountain in no time. There is a large dining table that seats 6 for family meals or fun games. Also, there is a large entryway for all your coats, boots, hats and shoes. And on the same floor as the condo, your private ski locker is just a few steps along the corridor for easy storage, access to your equipment and a straight walk to the slopes. You will find a full luxury bathroom with large sink, storage, an oversized bath with an overhead bath shower and fluffy towels. The master bedroom is furnished with a luxury queen bed, cozy linens, bed side tables, a dresser, a large closet and a flat screen TV. No need to go to a laundromat, there is a full-size brand-new washer and dryer, iron and ironing board in the condo. Need to work during your stay? There is a convenient fold away desk with Internet and USB connections for your convenience. We also have 600 MB high speed wi-fi Internet. Limited pockets? No worries, we have digital access code door locks which eliminates the need for keys. Ceiling fans are located in the master bedroom and living room. And, don’t forget the convenience of the heated underground parking garage with a pass for ONE vehicle that has direct access to the complex without getting out onto the weather.
Just outside our front door is access to the slopes, no lugging ski equipment! You can go straight out the door to the 3 ski lifts, 42 miles of cross country and snowshoe trails, and night skiing. Plus the ski shop is on the ground floor of the adjacent ski complex. Don't want to cook? Granby Ranch has an easy access casual dining facility steps away from the condo for easy access while skiing and a luxury restaurant and lounge on-site for a relaxing meal or a casual drink. There is also a specialty coffee shop! You will also love the heated pool and hot tub and access to the newly updated exercise facility.* (*Granby Ranch Managment daily fee of $15 per person will apply - children 8 and under are free - fee does not go to owners). The pool is so warm you can swim even in the winter. Additionally, on-site you will find a hearth room with a dual sided stone fireplace and comfortable furnishings; a terrace with a fire pit and propane outdoor grills; a Porte-cochere for drive-up, drop off and pick up; elevator access to every floor; free (shared) WiFi in the Base Camp One Hearth Room and common areas; and the common areas are air-conditioned in summer months.
Located in Granby Ranch, this gorgeous retreat is the base camp to the Grandby ski resort. It is truly a ski in/ski out, just 50 feet away from the lifts. (formerly SolVista Ski Mountain) and minutes away from golf on one of Colorado's top mountain courses, the Jack Nicklaus-redesigned Headwaters Golf Course. Bike along paths or tear down some of the best single tracks in the West, or spend the day fishing on a Gold-medal rivers filled with brown, rainbow, and cutthroat trout. Whatever the time of year, there's a world of adventure. There are miles of Nordic skiing terrain waiting for you at Granby Ranch or the surrounding Grand County. Hiking/mountain biking trails are right out the back door, and Snow Mountain Ranch, or Devil's Thumb Resort are minutes away. The town of Grand Lake and the three lakes (Lake Grandby, Shadow Mountain, and Grand Lake) are all within a 15 -minute drive. Rocky Mountain National Park is 25 minutes away and Steamboat Springs is 1.5 hours. If that's not enough, everywhere you look are lakes, rivers, and streams. Plan to fish, boat, raft, canoe, kayak, sail, fly fish, ice fish, swim, and more! Grand County is almost 80% public lands with clearly defined roads, trails, camping areas, etc. Grand Lake is home to the deepest natural lake in Colorado and is the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy the historic boardwalks, wonderful shops, multiple eateries, or go hike, snowmobile, or enjoy the majestic Rockies towering everywhere around you.
Conveniently located just two miles down the mountain is a new City Market grocery store (Starbucks inside), a liquor store, McDonalds, and Subway. Also Granby offers many wonderful full dining restaurant options if you wish to get out.
We think you are going to LOVE our condo and enjoy your Grandby/Grand County getaway. **NO SMOKING IN CONDO OR ON PORCH AND NO PETS CONDO** (No tolerance policy, deposits will be forfeited and possibly fines assessed) Due to the common areas in the complex and owner allergy issues, unfortunately, support animals are not permitted. A security surveillance device is onsite and monitors the front door only. A PHOTO ID AND/OR PROOF OF RESIDENCE IS REQUIRED FOR BOOKING. PLEASE READ THE RENTAL AGREEMENT PRIOR TO BOOKING. AN E-SIGN DOCUMENT WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU ONCE YOUR BOOKING IS MADE.
