Great family getaway in the heart of ski country. Granby Ranch is a year round resort. Golf, fish, hike, swim, and mountain bike in the summer. Great trails for biking and hiking. Fraser river offers excellent fly fishing, guided fishing available. In the winter your steps away from the lifts. Heated year round swimming pool and hot tub. Condo #300 is 2 bed 2 bath sleeps up to 6. Deluxe Corner unit with lots of windows. Larger than the standard 2 bed unit. Has separate dining area, smaller units have table in the kitchen. Our family of four had a wonderful week here at this corner unit at the base of Granby Ranch! TLDR: it’s clean, the kitchen is great and the lift is right outside. Will definitely stay here again!!Cleanliness/Owner: First thing we noticed was how clean the condo felt. The cleanest/freshest place we’ve ever stayed at! Carpet, bathrooms, towels, bedding, couch, and counters were all clean. The owner is communicative, responsive, and friendly. We appreciated the clear check in/out directions. Kitchen: We love to cook so this is really important to us. This is the best VRBO kitchen we’ve stayed at. The kitchen is spacious with lots of prep surfaces. Nice pots, pans, and knives (decent knives!!), as well as a well stocked pantry made it really enjoyable to cook for the week. Basics like salt, pepper, sugar, cooking oil, and spices all available. Location: The building is right at the base of Granby Ranch. If you haven’t been here before, it’s basically at the base camp of the ski resort. Leaving our ski gear in the locker on the first level was so convenient! No lugging heavy gear upstairs into the condo and the lift is just outside the doors. Indoor parking is easy and the building has carts that make bringing luggage or groceries up a breeze.Bed/bath: beds, bedding and pillows are comfy and plush. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. If you need to spread out. The main bath is in suite and so roomy! Soaking tub was great for sore muscles.

Nice property, just as shown. Clean place with a fully stocked kitchen and a ski locker. Everything went smoothly and I didn’t have a reason to contact the host. We stay at Base Camp One every year to ski because it’s true ski in ski out.

Beware of excessive damage deposit
I was uncomfortable with the large damage deposit requested by the owner. I opted for insurance. The insurance company notified me, after we checked out, that the owner made a damage claim. After investigating the owner's claim, the insurance company informed me they rejected a large portion of the claim.

Best VRBO Ever
The lodge was amazing, the unit we stayed in was perfect for a family of five. The view from the balcony of the mountains was picture perfect. Our unit Owner, Blane, was courteous and helpful. The unit was loaded with everything we needed for our stay. The main lodge was perfect meeting spot for all our friends who stayed at the same place. Game night every night and drinks by the fire! Ski lockers held all of our gear and was 20 paces till we put our skis on and got on the lift. This will now be an annual trip and hopefully we can snag this unit each time.

Can’t do Granby any other way!
The condo is even better in person than shown in the listing. Everything we needed, from kitchenware to toiletries, was included in the unit. The best part though was the location - it is literally 30 steps to the rental shop and 35 steps to the main ski lift. Only advice would be to pack a noise maker if you’re a light sleeper. We visited during a very busy week and, like all shared spaces, you can hear the other occupants. We are already planning to visit again next year!

Easy and close to lifts
Thank you for sharing you place with us. We had 60 friends and family in Granby for the week and I couldn't have asked for a better place for my family to stay. Great indoor garage, elevators are slow but we never waited too long, ski lockers and location were second to none, locker room bathroom was also nice to avoid lodge crowds or having to go back to room. Great kitchen with anything you would need, great view of the range (condo faces other side of slopes) comfortable living room area with gas fireplace. Great place to stay and we will be back to Granby again. Thanks for sharing with us.

Family Vacation
We had the best time during our week in Granby! Base Camp is the perfect ski in/ski out spot! This condo was very nice! The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking meals. It was clean and spacious for my husband, 3 kids and me. The sleeping arrangements with kids is always better when each kid can have their own bed! But it worked out fine! My only two complaints would be there were not enough wash clothes for all five of us. It also would have been nice to have a few extra towels. My second complaint is that one child slept on the pull out bed. Luckily I brought a set of sheets because there wasn’t an extra set. I think there was a sleeping bag but I’m guessing the sleeping bags are not washed between guests?? I would, however, stay here again. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already talking about Mardi Gras week 2024 in Granby!!

Great location for skiing
The condo has everything you’d need. Spacious and comfortable. Ski in ski out with locker. Had a problem with water temp but owner was immediately responsive and property management was at our door to explain how they were going to solve it. Would love to stay here in summer. Awesome place
My family and I loved this condo. It was bigger than we thought. We traveled with two other families and we were able to all hang out together in the evenings. The coat rack at the entrance was great. Having the washer and dryer was a big deal for wet gloves and hats. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some. The condo was very clean and we felt right at home. It has a nice little deck area that we weren't able to use as it was too cold. The fireplace is nice after a long day skiing. The owner was fantastic to work with and the in/out instructions were very detailed. Granby Ranch is great and is perfect for families. There are a ton of activities close by, snowmobiling, tubing sleigh rides and many more.
