If you're seeking a relaxing family-friendly getaway, look no further than this 3-bed, 2.5-bath vacation rental cabin! Located in the Edgewater community and sitting right on the Fraser River, this cozy cabin offers sleeping arrangements for 7, plus access to community amenities including a seasonal pool, year-round hot tub, and 4 stocked fishing ponds. Spend your days fishing, hiking at Granby Ranch, Rocky Mountain National park or paddle boat for free on the onsite pond for a trip filled with outdoor adventure!

Upon arriving at your home-away-from-home, you'll instantly adore the contemporary cabin-like exterior! Step inside to discover the naturally lit interior featuring an open floor concept, wealth of windows and cozy mountain-themed decor. This homey abode is stocked for families, including a pack-n-play, high chair, and in-unit laundry machines.

Begin each day by sipping a steaming cup of coffee on the upper deck revealing serene views of the Fraser River. As your travel companions wake, cook a hearty breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen to savor at the quaint breakfast nook. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops truly make cooking a breeze!

Leisurely days are best spent enjoying the various community amenities of Edgewater right outside your door. Lounge by the seasonal community pool and hot tub, teach your kids to fly fish in one of 4 stocked ponds, spend the evening with the kids down by river or take them to the playground to romp around! The property also offers paddle boating for free during the summer months.

When you return home, fire up the gas grill to enjoy a delicious barbecue meal around the fire pit. As the sun sets, stroll along the Fraser River or head inside for family movie night in front of the gas fireplace. The flat-screen cable/Smart TV includes Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and other streaming capabilities.

Guest access
You will have access to the cabin, private fly fishing on the Fraser River, the Edgewater Community and all Grand County has to offer.

In the summertime you will find toddler fishing poles and several construction trucks to dig in the sand.

If you prefer to spend time inside, will find dozens of games to play for all ages. We have a toy box stocked with toddler toys and you'll find coloring books and even a LEGO set to keep you busy.

If you're brining a little tot in tow, we have a pack and play, a highchair, a booster seat, a toddler hiking backpack and two baby gates to make your packing easier.

We love this place ❤️
Such a special stay at this home. We are always sad to leave. Such a comfortable, clean and cozy place to stay. We love fishing with our kids, eating dinners on the back porch and exploring all the fun adventures near by. The cabin is always so well stocked and clean. Can't wait to visit again next year!

Perfect cabin
We could not have asked for a better location for our Rocky Mountain getaway. This cabin is amazing. The decks (yes, 2) overlooking the river were so peaceful and relaxing - perfect for morning coffee or evening s’mores. The cabin is equipped with EVERYTHING. Kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms - all perfectly stocked. If you have a little one, tons of books and toys, as well as swimming gear. If I could give a higher rating than 5, this would have it. Only regret, our trip could have been longer. Thanks, Melany!

Warm and cozy cabin
Cabin was very clean and welcoming, the owner was very accommodating sending us a list nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and recommended activities, which we ultimately used. Cabin had very special touches such as family games, TV had pre logined streaming accounts, and books for children. Pantry was well stocked and everything we've needed for the most part was supplied, including tolietries. We really felt at home. The view is spectacular. Highly recommend and we would love to come again. Only downside was not lot of a closet space to store clothing or jackets but they did supply a lot of extra blankets, pillows, towels and bedding. We also saw a pack and play stored in one of the closet, very family friendly!

Rocky Mountain Getaway
Our stay at Melany and Blake’s Granby condo was great! The condo is perfect for a getaway to the mountains, but you are anxious to come back and enjoy all it has to offer. We especially loved the fireplace in the living room and the deck and fire pit overlooking the river. The bed in the master is exceptional and comes with a killer view. Come enjoy this special place!

Perfect getaway
We loved this cabin! It had plenty of room for four adults and we had everything we needed on site. Check in was easy and the owners were very responsive. The location is great. We walked to town for breakfast and then took off for an easy hike (Monarch Lake Loop Trail) and got to see a moose! There are lots of fishing opportunities just steps away from the cabin and the pool area is very nice.

Nicely decorated and supplied cabin with view
We stayed a week in July 2021. This cabin is nicely decorated and very well supplied with kitchen items, toilet paper, towels, etc. It was clean and bedding looked newer (would suggest taking your own pillows though as they all were a bit too flat for our liking....personal preference though). It is conveniently located off the main road, but you can't hear road traffic or see much of it because of the river and trees. It's a nice little community of newer cabins like this one. The deck was our favorite part of the cabin - it's been expanded from the pics we saw online so there is the gas fire table and 4 chairs, a table for 6, a kids picnic table, and two umbrellas. Nicest deck of all of the cabins we thought! Very nice to be out there with the view of the river! You can walk down by the river and wade in it. We didn't see any fish and didn't notice a fly fisher catching anything when we were there, so I wouldn't count on fishing there if that's your interest. We were disappointed as the amenities listed weren't available for our visit - - the pool was closed for repair and there was no putting green. It would have been nice to get notified of this ahead of time because those were two big things our kids were really looking forward to and why we picked this cabin. So be aware of that if you are traveling summer 2021. (Master bedroom lock didn't seem to work but we notified owners to fix as well). It's easy access to get into Rocky Mountain National Park (maybe 20-25 min drive to west entrance). The fall of 2020 fire damage is visible on that side of RMNP so some hikes in the park were closed yet. We drove all the way through to Bear Lake Cooridor hikes - - it's a drive, but worth it! It is also about 15-20 min to Grand Lake from the cabin, which is pretty for boating, has a little beach, you can rent boats/paddle boards, and there are some shops and restaurants on the main street area. Adams Falls is near Grand Lake and an easy, yet beautiful hike. We have stayed in several vrbo properties because we enjoy having more space than a hotel room. I would recommend this property.

Gorgeous Views and VERY Kid Friendly
We had a great experience at this cabin! The back of the house had gorgeous views of the mountains. The house was extremely well stocked everywhere: kitchen utensils & some seasonings, baby essentials (pack n play & baby gate), even board games to keep us laughing after the kids went to bed! The only issue we had: not sure if we were venting the rooms wrong, but downstairs got very warm with the heater on while the upstairs corner bedrooms stayed very cold through the night and morning. Overall, wonderful experience and the host was very accommodating!

Beautiful property!
