Attitude at the desk was less than favourable. This is the low season and we were turned down a request for early check in . We had to come back after 4 pm. When we did, we were provided a room with no view except for a retaining wall when hotel was less than half full

It’s Grand!
Wonderful hotel. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, enjoyed the fresh coffee and cocoa in lobby. A convenient location to GCNP. Nice bathtub for an evening soak after visiting the Grand Canyon in the wintertime.

We only stayed one night and I truly enjoyed it! Lobby is so interesting and has an amazing fireplace, free tea and coffee and cookies, they have an excellent gift shop and their breakfast buffet (18$/ adult, sorry don’t remember the kids price) has lots of varieties and was very tasty! We didn’t eat dinner there so I can’t judge that but the menu seemed a bit pricey. Rooms are modern, updated, clean and well equipped and have a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and even an ice maker! Bathroom modern and clean and lots of supplies (toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving kit..:etc), a Starbucks and a few small restaurants are very close by and also a gas station and it is a very short drive to the Grand Canyon, overall I loved it and highly recommend it and will be back!

Overall the property was fine. The staff seemed okay at check in but don't ask for anything else. If you want to check in an hour early, there is a fee for that even though there were rooms ready. Check in is at 4, we showed up close to 3 and I was told I'd have to pay. All I wanted to do was put my luggage in the room but no problem. Decided to check out the Grand Canyon and kill some time. Came back from the Grand Canyon, check in was fine with Nash. It was around 9:20pm when we went to relax in the lobby where there is a fire place. No hot chocolate left. I asked Jennifer for some Swissmiss hot chocolate packs but she told us they ran out. I kind of found that hard to believe since I saw the amount they had out before we left the first time. Shifts changed and Dane was there. I asked him if they had hot chocolate and he walked over and gladly gave us hot chocolate. Took him all of 30 seconds to grab it, my only thought was why did Jennifer lie about something so petty, how dishonest. Thank you Dane, you are the reason this review is not 1 star. Shame on you Jennifer, where is your integrity.

This was a wonderful hotel! It was so close to the Grande Canyon and had all the amenities we wanted for our stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating!
