Room needs remodeling desk was old and chipped wallpaper had slight separation and was curling. Bathroom was great shower and very good bath. Room safe was good. Internet was slow. I am being very picky but for the price you should be. They had a nice band playing by the bar it was not too loud at the bar but the acoustics made quite loud on the 12th floor. Great location for van Andel. The walk there felt somewhat safe.

We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel. Very nice property that is clean and beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating too! Comfortable rooms with great views. I would definitely stay here again.

I stay in Marriott hotels ALL the time. I think for the price this one was a bit underwhelming. Except for the delicious omelet the breakfast buffet was just mediocre. Most food was barely warm and bacon very under cooked for our taste.

There is a great view from the upper floors and it’s walkable to everything downtown. It could have been cleaner and could use some updates. Beds were comfortable and sheets were soft. The staff was “mailing it in” just doing the bare minimum and considering it was one of the most expensive hotels in the area, I guess I expected more effort.
