"Granite Getaway Cottage” has bright and airy rooms with an outside covered deck for enjoying your morning coffee! The deck has a gas grill for cooking out. There is a comfortable living room with large smart screen TV, DVD player, power recliner with massage option, and an electric fireplace unit for ambience or those chilly nights. The kitchen has a dining table or you can sit at the counter to eat your meals. Dual coffee maker with several coffees provided. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The bathroom has a large walk in shower with a detachable shower head. Queen mattress with comfortable linens and USB ports in the bedside tables in master BR. Two twin beds in opposite bedroom are comfy as well. All mattresses and box springs are fully enclosed for sanitation. There is a small crib available, baby gate, and umbrella stroller. There are laundry facilities if needed. Natural cleaning products used to clean and sanitize the home. Keyless digital smart lock with WiFi deadbolt.

Peggy was a great communicator and made the rental process seamless. The cottage is amazing and exactly as advertised. Spotless! It is hard to think of more compliments than what has already been mentioned in the comments section. Everything we needed was readily available. We appreciated the clear instructions, local menus and maps. The personalized welcome sign and decor made it a very comfortable stay. The seasonal touches made it especially nice. Loved the pumpkins! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The house has been totally redone inside and it is very nice! It has 2 bedrooms and one bath. The only reason I say it was perfect for 2 b/c 4 might be a little tight. Very east to get to Hickory and the neighborhood was quiet. We very much enjoyed our stay there,

We were thoroughly pleased with this property and its manager! Everything was clean, welcoming and well thought out. Our only (very minor) gripe would be that we didn't find the bedding in the master bedroom all that comfortable. It's well equipped for little ones and we thought the pricing was very reasonable for what this property had to offer. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful, cozy cottage, decorated perfectly. Very clean and great location to Hickory, Lenoir and Connelly Springs. Exceptional attention to details from the coffees to qtips and hygiene items in the bathroom. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Gorgeous!

Very comfortable with an excellent location!
The house was very welcoming, clear instructions on how to check in and the host was very accommodating. The location is fantastic to downtown Granite Falls, Hickory, and not a far drive from Lake Hickory. I highly recommend this home and I would stay here again.

Lovely Stay
Excellent stay! Clean and beautifully decorated located in the very small town of Granite Falls. Although the town is small, the house is located only a few miles from Hickory. If you enjoy shopping for furniture, this house is in a great location.
