Fun place to stay on river and nearby hiking.
Great place to get away with private access to river. Owners even provided floats. Near to Pilchuck Mt. for hiking. Just be aware road into Pilchuck is a bit rugged. Nice fully fenced yard. I was traveling with my dog.

River = great, Bedroom odor = not so much
Overall we had a good stay by the river, however, there was a sickly sweet odor emanating from one of the bedrooms which made it impossible to stay in. Kris was responsive and flexible with making an accommodation, but it still left a sour note for our journey as it impacted our sleeping arrangements. Can't beat being by the river and I'm sure the odor will be remedied, but that impacted our stay.

Lovely location!
We had such a great time! Everything was clean and the hot tub was very clean. It was a bit awkward that we could see into the neighbors porch but it wasn't a problem. Loved this spot and will probably stay again!

Wonderful get away
This was just the get away we needed! We loved the short walk to the river, the kids loved the hot tub. We kept ourselves busy with all the board game options. The beds were somewhat uncomfortable, we could feel the plastic mattress protector through the sheet. I’d suggest getting a mattress pad to put on top of the plastic so you can’t fell it through the sheets. That didn’t stop us from having a wonderful weekend.

Lovely place for most
This is a great rental in a stunning location. Fantastic for most folks. The other reviews cover all of the great features. I wanted to share two things that weren’t ideal for us: 1 - The house has a ton of scented stuff (plug-ins, potpourri, scented candles, etc.) It was too much for us but I’m sensitive to fragrances, probably ok for most folks. 2 - Not ideal for toddlers. It’s beautifully decorated in a Hawaiian theme, but there are tons of fragile / breakable things within reach of toddler arms. It took a lot of energy to keep our son from grabbing and breaking things. Not ideal for toddlers unless they’re very well behaved, or you’re not planning to spend much time in the house. Otherwise it’s great, hot tub amazing and home is lovely and clean!

Lovely property along the river! A great space for my family (including a dog). Appreciated the positivity, how well stocked the house was, and ability to help us on short notice when we locked ourselves out. Thanks for the hospitality!

Just a lovely time
Our family and dog all visited over Thanksgiving and had the most marvelous time, even though it was pretty constantly raining outside! We spent time in the hottub and walking along the river looking for rocks. The kitchen is outfitted with everything we needed to cook an entire Thanksgiving dinner, which is above what we usually expect! Plenty of room for the kids to spread out, and they loved the upstairs lounge. I loved the plants and decor that really made it feel cozy. Heads up, save your key code before travelling, we had ZERO cell reception! We would love to repeat this trip again!

Weekend Recharge
My husband and I were in search of a peaceful weekend away and this was perfect. This is a family retreat that is being lovingly shared. Everything you could possibly need is there. The home sits right on the edge of the National Forest on the bank of the Stillaguamish River. We did several of the shorter hikes and drove the Mountain Loop Highway (seasonal). It was so beautiful! I really appreciated that the hot tub was covered and very private. If you haven't ridden out a rain storm in a hot tub while listening to the river, you really should.

Was so peaceful perfect retreat.
Completely comfortable and a nice mix between Complete isolation and just little connection with the outside world. No phone service however there is wifi it's a little slow however it's my opinion that when you go to a cabin in the woods it shouldn't be easy to jump on the web. So the slow wifi was a perfect compromise. My wife and I loved the decor. This was a perfect get away.

Perfect Home Away from Home
If I could give this place more stars I would. This place has it all including the most wonderful and welcoming host! The home was clean, fully stocked with condiments and spices - and any cooking tool you could want, the home layout provided space and privacy, and the river.... the perfect play space for our dogs and kids - was right outside the fully fenced back yard. I can't say enough good things about this place, whether you are looking for a landing zone to go hiking/exploring in area or a retreat where you don't have to leave your backyard to relax and enjoy nature - this place is it!!! Thank you Kris for sharing your home with us.

Wonderful stay for a family
We loved staying here! It felt like home. We had the perfect mix of adventures and relaxing at the house. We loved the fact that the house is right on the river - such a gorgeous view! Our children loved exploring back there and throwing rocks into the water. The house is also close to beautiful hikes. We hiked Old Robe Canyon trail and went to Lake Twenty-Two. Both amazing. The house had all the necessary accommodations and more. The owners communicate well and are easy to get a hold of when needed.

Relaxing getaway
Perfect place for our family! We all loved the peaceful sounds of nature all around us. Floated the river and the children loved playing in the river as well. Plenty of space inside and outside. We also loved the fence that is around the whole place it was like a bonus forbus because we have children. If I had any questions what so ever the owners got back to me in literally a minute or less and I appreciated that. I would definitely recommend this vrbo rental, you won't be disappointed.
