Stopped here passing through from Spain to Calais. Room was a good size with adequate heating, and dog friendly. Very idyllic and typically French. On site restaurant was good French cuisine but expensive. Not sure there is anything else nearby. , but we enjoyed it and would definitely stop off here again.

Overnight stop
A charming country hotel. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom modern and spacious. We used the hotel as an overnight stop travelling north. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing.

Lovely place with character. Friendly and helpful staff. Minor points shower Was not completely separated in the room. Bottle of water in the room would have been a nice touch if not tea making facilities. Would definitely stay there again.

Castle Hotel along the interstate
Last minute booking on the way to Spain. A very pleasant surprise as the hotel is in an old castle. Nice courtyard and nice French style breakfast. Friendly staff and easy parking. Just a few minutes from the toll road so easy to go back on the next day. Quiet and room had Wifi and A/C

Convenient hotel for where we wanted to be
We last stayed 15 years ago and there have been good changes unde new management who seem keen on the up market image. Apparently booked for weekend weddings almost continuously. Restaurant is in same building run as a separate business and is equally up market - a bit expensive - but very good in an area not full of good alternatives. Convenient for what we wanted or for business in Niort or for exploring the Marais Poitevin wetland and wildlife area.

Converted Chateau
The grounds of the converted chateau were really nice but couldn't find any cafe bars nearby. Restaurant in the hotel was very good. Stopped overnight on the way to Seville and was perfect for that.

Quiet stopover.
Needed a stop over during a long drive through France. Had to be out of town to park vehicle and trailer. Stunning setting , struggled to find at first, signage could be improved but beautiful spot and everything we needed.

Good and quite overnight stay
Pleasant staff but poor English. Good meal (small portions), pricey but fish not cooked (rectified without questioning). No tea/coffee making in room and had to explain to be provided with kettle. Quite setting. Attractive building

Excellent hotel
First time at this hotel, booked three superior rooms with the family for an overnight stay, and all Rooms were first class, staff very helpful and friendly, it would have been more helpful if we spoke more French. Rooms were very clean and spacious, breakfast has a good choice and very well presented. The grounds are pleasant with seating area to relax, wish we had more time to enjoy the swimming pool, we all had a evening meal in the restaurant, the food was presented first class and cooked to order, children made very welcome and would stay here again.

One night stopover
Used as a 1 night stopover on the way to Spain, lovely large building and rooms, and able to park directly outside the room which was very useful. Didn't get chance to use the facilities but they looked nice.

A real oasis
A truly welcome and friendly stopping point on our way through France to Portugal. Although we arrived late the welcome we received was friendly and professional. A really beautiful Domaine and we wished we could have appreciated it more. I would recommend it to anyone.

Convenient to main road, without traffic noise.
converted chateau in large grounds, great for our dog. excellent restaurant quality food, staff very pleasant. English speaking limited, but adequate. only negative is that we had a first floor room when a ground floor with a dog would have been better for us. There was some work going on around the hotel, looked like they were renovating part of it, but we did not hear any noise. Would definitely return.

Great autoroute stop off with a bit of character
Stayed for one night on the way to the South of a France. The hotel is an unexpected beauty and was a gross place to unwind, especially in the indoor pool.
