Stunning Log Cottage on an Island in Muskoka

This stunning new log cottage is set on a private island in the heart of Muskoka. Just 1.5 hours from Toronto. Enjoy all of what Muskoka has to offer on a mid size lake perfect for relaxing, swimming, watersports and entertaining. The cottage is ideally situated just 10 meters from your private sundrenched dock and waterside deck.
The space
This unique log cottage has a very warm feel and the interior is beautifully decorated. You will find all of the comforts of home here including a large, fully equipped kitchen, laundry and a whirlpool tub. Enjoy the many seating areas around the property including a hammock, large sun drenched docks and a fantastic covered porch where you can enjoy your meals while taking in the picturesque lake views. The private deepwater dock is available for your water toys and is ideal for swimming. There is also the option of a shallow rock entry which is great for little swimmers. A canoe and paddle boat are provided throughout your stay.
Guest access
This is an easily accessed island property. Parking is available on the mainland with a short walk down to a private landing. This landing is 200-300m by water to our dock. A 14' aluminium boat with an electric motor is provided for the short trip from the shore to the island. Alternatively, you can rent a boat for your stay from one of Muskoka's many boat rental companies. To enjoy full access to the rest of the lakes, we highly recommended that guests either bring their own boat or rent a boat through one of Muskoka's many boat rental companies. Guests should be aware that severe weather may prevent access to the island for short periods (strong storm winds making the water crossing unsafe). Please plan ahead accordingly and ensure you have enough time to arrive prior to nightfall.
