One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel was with Michael at the front desk of The Andrew. We were two women traveling and booked a room for the night. I made the reservation at 7 PM, arrived at 8, and Michael claimed he couldn’t find it. Despite showing confirmation emails, he refused to help and dismissed us. He then told us to go find parking on the street at 8:30 PM, offering no assistance while he ignored Expedia’s calls trying to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, when we returned, Michael was helping a guest and said he can park his car, but didn’t care about our situation. When pressed on resolving the reservation, he arrogantly said, “If I want, I can deny your booking.” Michael clearly has no experience, no customer service skills, and treats women with disdain. We felt so uncomfortable that after 3 hours, we left and booked elsewhere. To the management of The Andrew: you need to seriously address what your staff is promoting.

Very outdated old motel! The bathroom doesn’t have a counter top so items would fall on the floor constantly. Moldy shower, leaky shower head, no vent in the bathroom, tv only has a few local channels. We barely saw anyone at the front desk and no valet services on site. Limited parking. Make sure you have quarters for parking meters. The mattress is so old that I woke up in the middle of the night with horrible back pain. Will never stay here again!

The Andrew Hotel is a cozy, comfortable, and clean place to stay. it is conveniently just down the block from both the Great Neck LIRR Station and multiple buses that stop at the station. Check-in and check-out were simple and easy.

The food at the restaurant was fantastic and so were the portions and the service. The bed was so comfortable, and overall the hotel was quiet. The hotel staff were so friendly, polite and accommodating! I will absolutely stay there again when in town.

There are many things about this hotel that ensured we will not be returning. The bathroom was not great-looking (rust and missing tiles in the shower, no shower liner so water got through the curtain and all over the floor). The toiletries were all half used or looked like they had been refilled instead of replaced, including the mouthwash. There was nobody in any uniform to identify who was working. There was nobody to greet us at check in, we had to wait for someone to realize we were there to help us. The parking was valet-only and it was $19. The man parked my car right in front of the lobby, and then immediately asked where his tip was. I have never used valet so I didn't know we were meant to tip, so I went to get cash and then never saw him around the hotel again. We ended up parking on the street and using the meters for the rest of our stay for peace of mind and since it was cheaper. We were only allowed one more blanket and it was very thin. Overall not a good place to stay at but it did the job and we made the best of it anyway.

This hotel is a half way house for newly released criminals. The place was filthy and the rooms were in poor condition. I received a refund because I refused to stay there with my family. The hotel was completely misrepresented online and I was so disappointed.
