I have stayed before Nice to have shuttle to Airport and Hy Vee is very close by, The room was clean and beds were comfortable Breakfast was good would have liked another flavor of yogart but I survived with other food.

Really enjoy the prompt shuttle and 24 hour desk with pleasant staff. Our sink faucet was almost impossible to turn on and off. Very noisy most of night from other guests.

Nope, never staying here again.
Staff was extremely rude, they would not accept my wife’s card for incidentals even though the room was paid for with that card and we were both together. Bob the front desk attendant raised my voice angrily when I questioned this. I have literally stayed in over 300 hotels and have never encountered this policy or level or rudeness from the front desk. The room was large and somewhat updated. There was a recliner in the room as well as a sofa bed. The upholstery on those were very old and looked soiled. The bathroom was clean, the sink had amazing water pressure, enough to splash and soak you, the shower had the opposite problem and it took forever to clean my hair. The lighting in the hotel was all bright white, not a soft welcoming light. The pool was small and no other amenities at it, despite the sign outside the hotel boasting a water park. The breakfast had waffles and biscuits and gravy, the gravy was quite good. The fridge had “omelettes” (that were just cooked eggs), and a sign saying to microwave them, I did not oblige. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and will not stay here again, I’ve had better experiences at one star hotels.

Comfy beds and clean rooms
The lobby and office area was getting new carpet as we arrived. It looked like the rest of the hotel was just recently recarpeted as well. The reviews were correct - comfy beds! Small pool in an old area that was clean but very blah. Breakfast was decent and ends exactly on time - don't be a second late! Clean rooms had everything we needed. Far enough from the street to be quiet. Recliner in our room too!

I recently stayed at the Days Inn & Suites at the Des Moines Airport. It’s not fancy, but it was clean and conveniently located. The front desk personnel were friendly and efficient. I have no complaints! The breakfast was pretty typical, but they did a good job of keeping it refilled. The price was good and I would stay there again.
