I was put in a back corner unit with no windows; could not stay in it so I requested a room with a window. The guy that helped me could not speak very good english, and then put me in a different room and the door had no secure lock inside the room; it only could be locked from outside! Very thin walls / noisy almost all night, and I felt so unsafe there, could not sleep!!! I requested my money back and to leave but...
This property is misrepresented. It is under new management so maybe they are still working on it, but it should have cost $30 not over $100 to stay there.
Cons: It is an old motel. Door lock opened with a key, very 1970, and there was no way to safety lock from the inside. There was one obviously cheap blanket on the bed, and the furniture looked like it came from the Salvation Army or worse. The messages for guests sounded like they were expecting prostitutes to rent the rooms "only registered guests allowed in the room, others will be removed". The shower curtain was cheap, there were no amenities other than 2 small bars of soap. No hair dryer. I did not feel safe there. There were also dire warnings about extra billing for damages, so I took pictures of the room before I left so no one could say I had damaged anything. The microwave (not sure why there was a microwave) was damaged.
Pros: The staff member who answered the bell did allow me to enter the otherwise locked lobby. He was very polite and also very helpful. I am hoping my credit card was not hacked but so far so good.
The bedding was used, with male bodily fluids dried on the sheets, graffiti in various spots in the room, and mold on the window of the bathroom. Shower did not look as if it had been cleaned since the previous occupant had been there as there was hair all over the floor and walls of the shower. Looked like the maid had only “tidied” the room between occupants.
No WiFi, small old air conditioner. Charge through some construction company got declined due to credit card security, kid at front desk comes banging on my door after 9pm although my card was already charged before my arrival. Avoid this place regardless of price!
