Unique Family Compound 1 hour from ATL. Housing for 20+ people

Bogle Farms is an 80 acre rural, private compound with accommodations for multiple family units or large groups. We don't often rent through VRBO so please check our Bogle Farms online for numerous recent reviews and current availability. The Farm is a secluded retreat offered only to one family/group at a time. We offer 10 King/Queen Size beds in 7 bedrooms and 3 sleeping lofts. There are 4 bedrooms in the recently renovated Garden Cottage and 3 rustic, yet modern (with AC) cabins each with a bedroom and sleeping loft. We offer a gorgeous, resort-style pool. Please check out our property on the internet by searching Bogle Farm! Additionally, we offer a 2900 square foot enclosed event barn, large outdoor, covered fireplace and pavilion and a manicured great lawn which is perfect for a large tent or lawn games. Many more reviews and information can also be found online.
Our farm is designed to be a quite, peaceful retreat and is perfect for family reunions, weddings, corporate retreats and groups attending Auburn Home Football games. We have horses, chickens, goats, and donkeys which children (and adults!) enjoy watching. For large groups and events we offer multiple meeting venues including a new 2900 square foot wedding and event barn, an intimate, private garden with cedar pavilion, and the Fireplace Pavilion and Great Lawn. We promise your family a 'once in a lifetime' experience in the hills of west central Georgia near Callaway Gardens, Columbus, Atlanta and LaGrange and Roosevelt's Little White House in nearby Warm Springs. The Garden Cottage cottage is a 4 BR, fully renovated home with a large living and dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The 3 cabins have small kitchen areas with refrigerators, microwaves and sinks. Each cabin has central heat and air, a bedroom with queen size bed and a sleeping loft, also with a queen size bed. The cabins are nestled under old-growth oak and cedar trees 1/4 mile from the nearest traffic, but a short walk or drive to the main cottage. In spring and summer guests can enjoy the large, stone swimming pool which has been constructed within 30 feet of the cabins' front porches.
The property is a perfect venue for weddings or corporate events desiring a location where the venues are adjacent to the housing facilities.
Recently the farm has been used by national film production companies for national commercial shoots including for Carter's Little Planet children's clothes and the introduction of the new 2024 F150. series trucks.

Though set in a rural, country setting, Bogle Farms is far from 'roughing it'! Located less than an hour from Atlanta's airport and less than 10 minutes from I-85, Bogle Farms feels like a step back in time---but with thoroughly modern amenities. The view from the barn and fireplace pavilion area provides a wonderful venue from which to view the native whitetail deer, turkeys, hawks and other wildlife. Three fishing ponds are on the property and within walking distance from the cottage and cabins, as well as miles of hiking trails.

We do not allow firearms or fireworks on the property at any time nor do we allow ATV's.

Beautiful open spaces
Our family enjoyed this property with so many options like volleyball , cornhole, soccer and swimming in the pool. The property was very spacious and the children enjoyed just being able to run without boundaries.

Renters Beware!! Do not be fooled by the positive reviews!
My family and I evacuated due to a hurricane in September 2019. As a business owner and mother of 4, I was looking forward to some much needed relaxation and to be able to decompress from daily stressors. Other than a few minor issues, all was well the first couple of nights. It was quiet and no one bothered us. It was our last night that was disturbing. We were sitting by the pool while cooking out. Randomly, after being there several days, and this never occurring, the waterfall came on. This was about 9pm in the evening. Around 10pm I had gone into one of the cabins. Upon returning outside my 21 yr old daughter, visibly disturbed, told me of her strange encounter with the owners. The owners, popped out of the bushes and approached my daughter and her boyfriend, (the wife being in her robe) and began interrogating them about our departure the following day. They were very unfriendly and rude. It was apparent that the reason for the waterfall coming wad so that we could not hear them in the bushes, spying on us. Coincidentally, the waterfall shut off moments after they left. 🤔 Upset by what I was told - I sent a message to the owner asking if everything was okay. He responded, “of course”. I said nothing more. The next morning the wife stopped in at the main house where my mother stayed during our trip. Again, unfriendly, rude and insulting to even my 73 yr old mother. We checked out and went about our way trying to not let the odd, intrusive behavior of the owners ruin our whole experience. 1 week later I noticed the damage deposit was not returned to my card. I contacted the owner and he informed me, “the check was in the mail”. Odd. I’ve rented many places and never has the owner “mailed” me a check. I waited 3 days and after no check in the mail I contacted homeaway. I asked them if it was standard to mail a check for the return of a deposit and they said, “no”, and that they would inform the owner that it was not appropriate to mail checks to renters. 2 weeks later I finally received a check in the mail. The owner seems to be very passive aggressive and manipulative. I still do not understand their behavior but it was obvious that he was intentionally delaying the return of funds. I guess to add to our already stressful time while evacuating. Lucky for me I don’t live check to check so it did not hurt me as he intended. Very creepy, malicious, hateful people. You’ve been warned.

Great time, Great place!
This was our 2nd year. Thom is a wonderful host and the 12 Grandkids absolutely love it - so do their parents. We're already booked for next year. We highly recommend the Farm - you certainly won't regret it!

We enjoyed our stay, especially the pavilion area. The house was pleasant and adaptable.
The property is gorgeous. We enjoyed the views from the pavilion and spent time there. we also enjoyed the animals. The facilities were adequate with a little updating they could be even better. We would enjoy another visit to the farm, especially when we could utilize the pool.

Beautiful area, well kept, nice appointments.
Lovely pool, nice buildings and a good location. Only problem was the distance from the cottage to the 3 cabins and pool. Also, when we did get together for a meal, there was only the one table by the pool. Loved the rocking chairs on the porches of all the buildings and the helpfulness of Thom Bogle and his wife. We had a great family time and celebration of my 90th birthday. Thank you

Excellent place for a family reunion.
This was a perfect place to get the kids away from cell phones, and allow them opportunities to play with each other, feed animals, fish, and sit by the fire to tell stories.

Country living
This was a wonderful place to stay. This is an amazing place to spend time with kids and grandkids. It kind of forced the preteens to disconnect from their video games,iPads, etc and enjoy the great outdoors. ( too bad some of the adults could not seem to disconnect). Anyways property is exactly as described in terms of rooms and cabins. The property itself is stunning. We were all able to eat as a family every night inthe big barn. We grilled out every night and just made fixings to go along with the meats. The lake had plenty of fishing. The volleyball court was enjoyable family fun. I brought a lot of games for kids to play during day and they loved the huge pool. We also brought games for adults at night but there was plenty there also. The only critique I could offer is that the cabins could use some more utensils and basic cooking utensils but that can be remedied easily. There is plenty of dishes and drink ware. The big house is a wonderful place to gather for family breakfast and late night games. I would highly recommend and hope to book again in future.

This place is incredibly special!
I've never been to a more idyllic place with the people I love. The cabins and the cottage are so much roomier and nicer than any hotel room you're ever going to rent in this area. Meanwhile the pool, grills, and outdoor fireplace are simply perfect for a cookout ending in Smores consumption! If I had a daughter getting married I would beg her to have the reception on this magical property. The lighted , squared off area in front of the fireplace/band platform looks like something out of a movie wedding. The Bogels are fantastic people and have put their hearts and souls into this place. You get a palpable sense of it when you're there. Gather some families and find a way to book this place together. You'll have some great memories if you do. I promise!
