Great stay

We go to Greenville SC every couple of months to visit our grown sons. We’ve stayed at several hotels trying to find our “great fit”. This was our first stay at Cambria and it was great! Front desk staff were all very warm and friendly. Our room was spacious and quiet. Very happy with our stay.

It’s my first time stay at Cambria, seemed like a good standard 2 - 3 stars hotel. The staff at the front desk was friendly and informative. She mentioned there would be a mystery murder party at the hotel, not that I care because I was exhausted from travel. Anyway the bedding was a little bit old and not as clean. The worst part was pillows there were fold in half as displayed on the bed. Because it was so flat and cheap. I asked for more pillow and they didn’t have it. Ok whatever. Fast forward at night by 1-2 am there were a large yelling from the crowd outside by swimming pool/fire pit area that directly underneath my room, my husband looked outside and there were about 20 people partying. So loud. We were too tired and tried going back to sleep. We decided to contact Expedia to cancel our stay since we were not happy with the stay at all and luckily they canceled and gave us a refund back also the same lady that checked us in, I told her what happened and she asked if we called down the front desk so they could tell the party to be quieter and I informed her it’s not my job, I paid for the stay here and expect a good rest. If I had to be interrupted to wake up at 1 am to find out what’s the source and had to be the one who shut it down I didn’t want to stay here anymore. From what she said people from the darn party brought their party from outside and party at this hotel. And it’s hotel responsibility to control that crowd that may or may not be your guests.

Once I got to the hotel room, I unpacked some of my stuff only to find out that the electrical window doesn’t come down with the remote and the remote is broken. Also, in the first room, the temperature is fixed for 65° only it doesn’t go any lower and there’s no ceiling fan. So they had to change my rooms. They change my rooms to the room next-door and that room the remote worked for the window but again there was no ceiling fan and the temperature does not go down past 65 so I knew my sleep was not going to be comfortable. Then the bedding does not include a blanket only sheets. Once I checked the restroom, there was a lot of rust or mildew around the tub that should’ve been clean that wasn’t cleaned. I stayed for , two nights and three days and no one came to the room to clean the room while we left the room. We had dirty towels from showers on Friday and showers on Saturday that no one picked up. I had to call down to the front desk two times for towels. And , when I asked for towels, the front desk told me to bring my dirty towels to the front. As far as customer Service it was not great. It could’ve been better, but the location is good.

Best Bang For Ya Buck

Was here on a one night trip. Facility was very clean and spacious. Offered clean and up to date appliances. The beds were comfortable and the bluetooth mirror in the bathroom was a plus. Definitely Recommend
