On our arrival, we were given a room key and not much else. The room was a cave, with one window opening on an minimal landscape. Have to hike a half mile downhill to surfer's beach...then back up, not too strenuous though. This was our morning wake up walk. Continental breakfast was the same every day;white or wheat bread, jelly or cream cheese, and coffee...no juice, ask for hot water for tea, and some sort of cheerios. We are not big breakfast eaters so this was fine. The queen size bed rolled us to the middle, it could use a new mattress. While we did have the amenities they list on their site, alot of the other rooms didn't(we asked to move to a room with a better view and were told we were in the best one. The internet access in the lobby will cost you $5,beer at the bar is $4/bottle...buy your beer at a package store and keep in the room fridge to save $2 ea. Be sure to rent a car as the island is long with many beautiful EMPTY BEACHES all spread out. Bonefishing in Hatchet Bay is close by and fish were plentiful. We suggested to the owners on the last day that they should offer local fare for dinner, also packed lunches and cold drinks and were told they do ! All we needed to do was ask,as they don't offer lunch or dinner to anyone not staying at their place . All in all, a friendly, good value place to base out of while exploring the rest of the island.
