Stayed here a few times and normally ok. The room we were given this time smelled of damp and the shower was badly marked and scruffy looking. The shower was less powerful than previously. Woken up early morning with a fire alarm, apparently someone smoking in their room!

Good value stopover accommodation
Good value budget accommodation. Rooms were large, comfortable, clean. Staff were helpful, free onsite parking with motorway services closeby. Only downside was terrible damp smell in corridor but was not present in room thankfully. Its not the ritz but does the needful and would use again.

Dated and grubby
Advertised as recently refurbished but would imagine this is several years ago. Room very grubby with mould in bathroom. Beds very uncomfortable. Very dated hotel.

Was ok. We didn’t spent much time in the hotel, got there late at night and during next day and second night we were at a wedding. On check in wouldn’t give out bedding for pull out bed, Extra pillows were dirty/had mark on. Kettle dirty had to wash out before use. All down wall next to unit dirty. Rest of staff seemed friendly and helpful, rang to say we would be checking in late and the staff were fine with this. Helpful when asking where to get breakfast etc. Card stopped working morning we were due to check out so staff were quick to help when we returned from breakfast. Careful not to miss the turning for the hotel we couldn’t find it at first and missed the carpark/turning and it’s on a one way road. As a location it’s handy as the services are just across the road if you need anything and can have breakfast there.

Easy and quick check in, clean room. Bed was on medium to slightly firm (which we like) so had a great sleep. Can hear a bit of noise from rooms roundabout and corridors. Would stay again.
