Book a hotel near Grindstone Neck Golf Course, Winter Harbor

"I chose Bar Harbor Manor based on reviews and my husband and I were very happy with my choice. Constance checked us in this past Tuesday and was so very friendly and helpful. She helped me plan the things I had asked about Acadia and Bar Harbor and gave us maps with it all marked out. Then we met Chris shortly after and he went and got us yogurt and granola bars when I told him we would be leaving our room at 4:30am for sunrise the next morning. We were so grateful to him the next morning while we were up on the summit eating those treats. Our mattress was the most comfortable out of the 3 hotels we stayed at this past week. Slept like babies. Our room and bathroom were very roomie and had everything we needed. Grab and go breakfast in lobby with muffins, fruit, yogurt,etc., coffee all day (including flavored syrups/creamers etc) and chocolate chip cookies! The hotel is a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. We ate at two restaurants that Chris and Constance recommended and they were both very good. We felt very much at home at the manor and would definitely stay here again. They were so, so nice. We Can’t wait to return!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Winter Harbor. The house is exactly as advertised. It is very cute, but roomy enough to accommodate 4-6 adults no problem. The best thing though, it is within easy walking distance to the harbor, the Five and Dime store (literally next door), restaurants, and the grocery store. It's the perfect location in this charming town. The only improvement we could think of was a little more furniture - a couple more chairs in the living room (although it has a big sectional couch) and a chest/dresser in the bedrooms the larger bedrooms for clothes, electronics, etc. The owner is quick to respond and easy to work with, and the check-in / out were refreshingly simple."
