It was the most awful room I ever stayed in it was disgusting filthy dirty sheets dirty towels there was food in the closet from the previous occupants I would never recommend my worst enemy to stay in this place

Good for solo traveler
I needed an inexpensive room for a couple of nights while in town on business. This place was exactly that. The good: Heat works well, plenty of parking, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, bed was comfortable, room was clean, it was quiet, I felt safe at night. The bad: it's an old property and the rooms could use updating, fresh paint, new carpeting, etc. All in all, the Rodeway Inn was exactly what I was looking for and I would stay again.

The room smelled of cigarette and pot. Stufff spilled on carpet, in one place it was crunchy for no better word. Bathroom walls had spots of stuff I don’t even want to speculate on. After looking at this for less than 10 minutes we gave the keys back and said no thanks! There were people outside smoking pot.

The place was a dump,the room was filthy I had to go to the office and have them come, change the dirty bedding, the sheets were filthy and the mattress was stained, with what looked like blood we ended up just leaving without even getting a refund we were there for less than a half hour went to fox woods for a couple of hours then went back to the room a grabbed our belongings and drove home 2 hours at 10pm they need to gut that place I wouldn't pay 20 a night to stay there it's really that bad sticky stuff like soda stains all over the walls and dressers the carpet was dirty and stunk it had to be over 20 years old it was really bad, that's all I can say so bad we just left and took the 125.00 dollar loss...

It’s not as unsafe as it seems though I totally understand why people would feel unsafe. An Uber driver who knows the area told me the people staying at the hotel are harmless. The conditions of the hotel don’t help it appear safe though. The floors are dirty, the bedspread is grimy, there are bugs in the bathroom, and the rooms smell unbearably like smoke. I’ve been a smoker in the past and don’t usually mind the smell, but even this smoke smell was overwhelming for me. It was wild how bad it smelled. I did consider leaving at one point but stuck it through.
