We didn’t even make it to our hotel because they decided to give our room to someone else and claimed that they never got our reservation even though we had a printed receipt and confirmation. Now my family and I are stuck at the airport in the cold at 3 am … not what I was planning this is a horrible hotel with horrible customer service.

I recently stayed at the Hangar Select Aeropuerto Guadalajara and had a decent experience overall. The hotel had some great aspects but also a few shortcomings. The location is very convenient, situated near the airport. The staff was friendly and quick to address any requests we had. The room was somewhat clean upon arrival. The rooms were a bit dated, and some furniture showed wear and tear. The bathroom was quite small, the towels had holes in them, and what appeared to be rust stains. We thankfully had our own towels, and did not utilize their towels. The complimentary breakfast was basic, with limited options that didn’t feel very fresh. Noise from nearby traffic and neighboring rooms was very noticeable at night, and in the very early morning. There were also lots of barking dogs. Way too noisy! Did not get any rest. At check out they tried to charge me for their dirty towels, until I showed them our own towels, and let them know we never touched their towels. They said it was okay, and I was not charged for their dirty towels. In summary, the Hangar Select Aeropuerto Guadalajara is a good choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, no-frills option in a convenient location. However, there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of comfort and amenities.
