The room was small and no fridge. But the overall stay was good. I just expected more because it was a their higher tier room. Top floor, balcony. The bed was mid. I usually stay in American chain hotels because the experience is more consistent and I like to have a fridge to keep my water cold. The view was great. I’ll still go with a four stars because the misses were my fault for not checking on the details that are important to me.
Although the location is right in front of the cathedral, there’s a lot of vagrants, which makes it feel quite unsafe. The rooms are very tiny with no true closet. Space. Property feels very outdated. We could really use some remodeling.
This place is a great location to be in the middle of the historic center. The rooms with balconies have the best view. It includes breakfast which is the same thing every morning chilaquiles with huevos. The front desk staff isn’t the most welcoming. They need some coaching on what great customer service is and how to make people feel welcomed and valued to be at your hotel. If there is a line of people please acknowledge them and let them know you’ll be right with them instead of ignoring their presence until they are up to the desk. Get off your phone. Also as being part of a bigger hotel chain they don’t have hair dryers in the room which is absolutely ridiculous. Get some hair dryers that connect to the wall instead of making us go down to the lobby and leave an ID for a hair dryer. You would think such a big hotel could afford to do that. It was super inconvenient that I had to go to the lobby with wet hair and still wait in line after people are checking in just to dry my hair. It was almost dry by the time I got back to my room. The security guard at night is the sweetest man. He made me feel very safe and always helped me with the elevator.
Beautiful views of the cathedral and surrounding buildings. Great prices and pretty much everything was within walking distance. Only bad thing I can complain about is, the church bells go off about every half hour, so if you are a light sleeper, this maybe a problem. Highly recommend staying here!
The hotel is awful for cost no iron no tiolet paper staff hortible androom ocerall horrible would never stay here again the price is such a rip off this hotel shouldnt even be rated 3 star ive stayed at 3 star hotels and theyre still great this one to me is a 0 star hotel i dont reccomend at all
