This property is our favorite place to stay when we come to Guadalajara. The place is always clean, the beds and pillows are excellent, and the staff is exceptional, from Karla at the front desk, to the bellmen, Joel and Rafael who are always ready, with a smile, to help. It feels like home and we will continue to stay at the Square hotel when we stay in Guadalajara. We rate this a 5 star hotel!

We really appreciate this hotel. We travel to Guadalajara about 3-4 times a year and stay at this hotel for a number of reasons. It’s quiet, walking distance to many excellent restaurants, very comfortable beds and It offers a very nice breakfast upstairs. But the main reason we continue to come back is the incredible customer service we receive from the front desk girl, Carla. She always makes our stay special and we greatly appreciate her.we highly recommend this hotel.

Para una emergencia está ok
En general está OK pero mi habitación daba al estacionamiento y eso está TERRIBLE. La habitación estaba oscura todo el tiempo. Respecto a la comida; solo tome el desayuno y no me encantó. Un tanto desabrido pero el servicio es rápido. Puedes dejar tu coche en el estacionamiento pero no están muy al pendiente de las llegadas o no hay señalamiento de donde dejarlo al llegar

Stayed here a couple of times but was a bit disappointed this time around. Booked a suite thinking it would be more comfortable than the smaller rooms and I was wrong. The sheets and comforter had red stains on them, the table lamps were flimsy and wobbly and just out of style, the hand-held shower’s hose kept coming lose and spraying everywhere and the larger rain shower head above was all clogged up and leaky. Also water kept going from low pressure to high and the temperature from cold to boiling every couple of minutes. To make matters worse, the wifi does not properly work un the 4th floor where our room was. I don’t think I’ll be staying here my next time in GDL.

Needs some care
Property is nice overall. Arrival was not very well defined where to pull up and drop of luggage. Entering the hotel it's nice service is friendly. Entering the room nice however several lights were not working all the time. At one point the main ligjts would not turn on. Shower water pressure and temperature was not well regulated and fluctuations happened while showering. Shower had a nice rain shower head but it was pretty clogged. Washcloth had a big stain. Hand towles a bit tattered. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 am. Left a bag of trash on the desk and didnt replace the washcloths so there weren't any for the next day. Replaced the coffee pods but with decaf. Water was free but only 2 small bottles. Bed and bedding very nice and comfortable. The pool level is average and part of it was under construction. Restaurant furniture a bit worn and definitely not luxurious. Honestly for the price, there are better hotel options. Location is good but again there are other places close. The room was nice enough if not for the lighting issues, and the above mentioned things.
