The property is beautiful however the room was dirty. In addition, the towels were dirty, they did not offer room service nor bottled water and the small space heater did not work. Very disappointing.
The property it self is really nice, but every bugs and the cleaning service is nearly useless. As well they staff promise you everything and at the end they charge you for services which we never even received.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing. Great getaway to disconnect from society, as long as you want. It is 30 min up the mountain from Guanajuato. The views and calmness are definitely worth the short commute (note: I had a car).

Wonderful scenery beautifully kept property luxury charm character culture
Beautiful room and very scenic property.
Loud at night with “scooters” going by and a train horn. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all and the prices were absurd.
Gorgeous winery with delicious food and great room
I cannot believe we found this place at the rate posted, but I would have paid twice as much for the stay. Gorgeous, warm, clean room, exquisite yet homely decoration, and a perfect getaway from the hustle of Guanajuato.

I think the hacienda was nice. However, the location was a bit inconvenient, it’s about an hour drive from the city. The price seemed a little high given that the WiFi is really bad, breakfast is not included and some of the rooms do not have a telephone, so it’s a bit hard to request room service.
It is a great place to relax, and to know more of the production of the grape and winery processes, by having a gourmet Restaurant to enjoy your white or red wine bottle, learning about the cuture, relaxing and enjoying the amazing service and attentions you will recieve once you arrive there.
Wonderful place to relax and decompress. The property is beautiful, but there is a local flare too. Be sure to check out the best time of year to visit, because April was rather dry and obviously the slow season so the pool was not open and much of the property was not ready for guests. That was unfortunate because we were not told this prior to our visit, but it was lovely.
If you crave a quiet place to relax, this might be for you. Being only 5 miles from Guanajuato, I mistakenly assumed it would be easy to visit the town. In and out, right? Not right! The twisting rough cobblestone road made the 5 miles feel like 30 in a stock car and took 25 minutes. Parking in Guanajuato is near impossible and the narrow, cobblestone streets (much like San Miguel de Allende) are both charming and diverse but difficult to walk on for any great distance.
Next trip I will find a hotel near town center. Hope this helps.
The hotel is beautiful, however it's about an hour away from Guanajuato city. Food is great, specially breakfast. The reservation wasn't there when we arrived however they managed to solve it and give us a room. There is almost no wifi /cellphone signal, but that wasn't a problem for us. The place is extremely beautiful and the attention was great.
excellent food great, don't like shower was dirty,
love it it's a place to stay all day and enjoy facilities many things to do for a one day stay.
don't like shower was dirty, and also no comunication with room service or Hotel staff.
Beautiful place, the room is beautiful just like the pictures and the bed is very comfortable, the food was very delicious, the massage they gave us was delicious too… the staff is very attentive and helpful, you can take walks through the vineyards and different places… a super quiet place to forget about the stress of the city. You will not have access to your network, but they have Wi-Fi for almost the entire stay.
