Tl;dr version: If you are planning to stay in this area for Canton fair or anything, do yourself a favor and stay at other hotel. There are many in this area (which is a nice area btw)
First thing, I gotta say Expedia team is very helpful. When I first got there, I cant find it at all since it is actually in an apartment room (with wrong address) that you can't get inside unless you wait for resident to open it for you (until the very last day). The address it mentiond (block 18 B) is entirely different hotel. I got some Chinese to help me to contact them, and when I thought I could dinally get my room, the owner ask me to pay them in cash and that I haven't paid (thanks to helpful support team at expedia that resolve this problem professionally)
Aside from poor service at the start, everything else is as bad. Very little to none service. Very dirty room (we have to be the one clean them most of the time since we cant stand it). Very little common space. (feel like they try to sholve as many capsule inside as possible). Door into the room change password every now and then abd not telling us about ut (I once had to stand outside and wechat them to get new password. Wasting around 10 minutes. RIP people without wechat or internet). And one of the roommate had to move from his bigger box to the standard one because the owner was planning to bring his own kid and wife to visit. And of course. That kid scream all day.
