Great value and views
We stayed 1 night here in early May and were very satisified with everything. It is located on a hill in the suburbs so might be a bit difficult to get to without a car. With car we found it easily and parked ok on street. Covered hotel parking was available. The staff were very helpful and some good English. The room was large, clean and comfortable with terrific view over farmland and hills. Buffet breakfast included in price was excellent as also was the 15 Euro buffet dinner. Wifi worked well. Very good value.

Excellent, but not good for vertigo!
Really excellent for a 3 star - attentive service, quiet and plush rooms. Didn't have time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked varied and inventive. Views are impressive, but the guard rails outside the windows are far too low on the 2nd floor. Keep the window closed and use the aircon!

We stopped for one night on our way from the Algarve to the Douro Valley. The hotel was a little older but very well maintained. The rooms were clean and the staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was quite good. My only complaint was that the bed was very hard.

Guarda stop over
A pleasant stop over on the way down from Northern Spain to Lisbon. The hotel was in a good location and had amazing views over the countryside. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good quality

Excellent hotel
Overnight stay on way back from Algarve. Although listed as 3 star this hotel is worthy of a 4 star. Hotel,staff,service,food all excellent. My wife and I thought the service in the restaurant and bar were particularly impressive.

Pleasant and efficient.
For the very reasonable price this is an excellent stopover for the weary traveller. The staff we encountered were charming and efficient. The dining both at dinner and breakfast was good and excellent value.

A GREAT STOP OVER HOTEL
THIS IS A GREAT HOTEL TO USE AS A STOP OVER ON THE WAY SOUTH. The area is worth a visit, lots of history & you can ski in the winter. The staff / food / rooms, are good, the hotel is very good value & well located.
