Overrated
The hotel is called Longting on your website but when you arrive all the signage says OYO. No tea or coffee in room, no hot water (even after leaving tap on for 15 mins), crazy bed on the floor, pool area dirty and not maintained, giant tralantula spider on the wall one morning. To get to hotel you have to stop at a guarded gate and then get a lift to the hotel with a local driver. Even taxis can’t go there. This hotel is overrated on your website. I’d give it 2 stars and that is being generous.

A beautiful new hotel in a lush environment. It 15 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of YangShuo town. The staff are very helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious. The only negative was the television. The manager admitted that even domestic tourists could not get it happening.

Traumhaftes, abseits gelegenes Hotel
Das Hotel an sich ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Sehr modern, große Zimmer, die (bis auf einen Kühlschrank) keine Wünsche offen lassen. Das Hotel ist jedoch sehr abgelegen in einem Areal, in das (fast kein) Taxi rein darf. Demnach ist man auf den (2x kostenlosen) Shuttle angewiesen. Dass es das gibt ist super, aber auch zwingend notwendig, da es in näherer Umgebung nicht viel zu unternehmen/ zu essen gibt. Für Ruhesuchende ist das Hotel jedoch super, denn die Landschaft ringsrum ist wunderbar. Da das Hotel relativ neu ist, ist das Frühstück noch nicht wirklich durchdacht. Wir wurden gefragt, was wir zum Frühstück benötigen, uns wurde aber nicht gesagt, was es gibt. Dadurch weiß man nicht was inbegriffen ist und was nicht. Hier hätte ich mehr erwartet. Eine Sache möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen, auch wenn der Umgang mit Tieren generell in China anders ist hätte ich nicht erwartet, dass in der Hotellobby zwei wunderschöne Katzen in einem Hamsterkäfig als Dekoration ohne jeglichen Freiraum gehalten werden. Das, die Abgeschiedenheit sowie das nicht wirklich vorhandene Frühstück würden mich das Hotel nicht nochmal buchen lassen. Der Service ist wirklich sehr bemüht, für meinen Geschmack zu viel.
