This Gulf Highlands studio condo is perfect for both small families and couples. It's moments away from the beach, a quick drive from nearby towns, and features on-site perks like shared hot tubs and a indoor saltwater pool.

The condo is only a quick walk from the beach and restaurants. Fort Morgan's preserved civil war battlements and boardwalks are a short drive west, as is the Mobile Bay Ferry to Dauphin Island. Gulf Shores' selection of shopping, dining, and bars is a quick drive to the east.

Both mattress were trash! My husband slept on the couch it was so bad. The pillows were flat and basically like not sleeping on one. The condo overall needed updating.

Terrible business practices
The place was nice, be prepared to fill out a lot of paperwork and pay for parking, prior to checking in. My biggest problem with this host is that my son left his Xbox controller on the bed. I immediately made the host aware. They responded and said they would look for it. I thanked them. Then I got another email stating they could not tell me, yes or no, if they found it until I pay a fee. To charge me a fee to just tell me if this was found or not is a form of extortion. I'm so upset and you really should change that practice. I expected to have to pay to have it shipped home, but a fee just to confirm whether you even have it, is ridiculous! I mean, let's say you didn't find it, I'm out money just to hear those words. Just terrible!

Honest Review
if you want to be comfortable and to spend time in your condo comfortably- I wouldn’t book this place. If you prefer this location, there are other, nicer condos in the same area/resort that are better kept. It seems that the owners want a quick buck and don’t seem to think it’s necessary to keep this at an at least minimally acceptable level of presentation. It’s a shame- because this condo could be a great money maker and has the location to be phenomenal; but in its current condition, it’s not worth staying in. The view is absolutely phenomenal- especially from the bed in the loft area. The kitchen is updated with a beautiful backsplash and nice appliances. The property management staff was exceptionally responsive and though I would NEVER stay at this condo again, I would definitely stay with this rental company again. There are many concerns at this property, but since I only have so many characters to type, I will place the most notable concerns below: -The carpet in the upstairs is clearly original to the house and desperately needs replaced with something more appropriate to the tropical setting. It was crunchy under foot in some spots and “sticky” in others. It’s a haven for all kinds of allergens (I have a TON so I was pretty sick with allergies the 4 nights we were there- even with my mees). It didn’t pass what I call the “foot test”; I walked on it in bare feet and my feet were black by the end of the first evening. -The plant ledge and the windows above the patio door were ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING (dead bugs, etc) when we got there. I called to have them cleaned and a housekeeper came and told me she couldn’t clean it; that it was maintenances job and they only do that and I’m quoting “once or twice a year”. That is totally unacceptable. That should be cleaned at least monthly with all the people who rent here. However, on the plus side maintenance came the same day with a ladder and did clean it. -The VRBO listing regarding the indoor salt water pool is completely inaccurate. The indoor pool is only for people staying in the “Dunes” and you need a key. I called multiple people and went multiple places and was told several times that my condo couldn’t use that pool. -Water intrusion stains ALL OVER the ceilings and warping of the drywall/paint from water damage -The entire bathroom is disgusting. It needs an APPROPRIATE upgrade. Not poorly done bead board and a constantly leaking toilet that’s been poorly fixed in the past

Great place, super clean and convenient with 2 teen girls, i could let them go to the pool and watch from the deck. Only problem was parking, had quite a walk a couple nights, it was pretty dark and made me a little nervous. Seen a lot of cats without the $20 pass, should be better enforced for the people who actually paid.

We really enjoyed this studio condo. It was perfect for our kids and us. It was stocked with plenty of paper products and plenty of dishes even though we didn’t really need them. There were also beach chairs and floats in the closet if needed. Our wagon for the beach stuff was perfect for the short walk to the beach. We walked over to Sassy bass to eat one night and down the road to Tacky Jacks. We even took the ferry to and from daulphin island which was perfect for beating the OBA and mobile traffic. Will def stay here again

Cozy Condo
The condo was as advertised. It was clean and functional and plenty of space for two of us who spend most out time at the beach. A couple of small upgrades would go a long way. It could use a coat of paint, especially in the bathroom and on the trim. The comforter upstairs also needs replaced due to a couple of stains.

Lovely getaway to the beach!
We loved this space for our family of four. The view from the condo was so pretty, looking out over the pool and tree lined pathway to the beach. We had everything we needed to Nestle in for our week long stay. The kitchen was well equipped and we are inmost of the time to maximize our time at the beach. We would love to return to this sweet place!

Awesome Loft
We loved our stay! For it being a holiday weekend, we were easily able to go to our loft and feel secluded. I wish it were a little bit cleaner when we arrived, especially with COVID, but overall the loft was super cool, and the location was perfect.

Very peaceful area.
If you don't need much space and want to stay away from the madness of spring/summer break this is an ideal place. Quite, nice pools and walking distance to the beach. My only complaints is that it's about a half hour away from stores, restaurants and entertainment.

It was ok.
The condo was nice and some what cleaned. When we got there we had to sweep the floor there was sand all on the kitchen floor. And when we got the chairs and stroller out of the closet it was covered in sand. And I was not to happy that we were not beach front like they told me I would be. We had to walk a pretty good piece to get to the beach. And another thing I didn't like was we had to drive 15-20 minutes just to go eat.

Great family resort location...
Pleasantly surprised at this loft condo to acommodate our family of 3. Beds (including sleeper couch & window bed) were comfy. Well equipped even with beach chairs and cart. Very clean. Resort services & amenities were great. About 15 mins from main GS provided non-crowded beaches within very short walk from condo. Would definitely stay here again!
