Perfect Home Away From Home
Everything about this home was as expected. I loved everything about it. I will definitely stay in this home again if it is available. It was clean. If I had any questions about the home the management company was always prompt in addressing my question. I highly recommend this home if you are looking for a quiet place to spend your vacation. I loved the screened in porch with the magnolia trees in the yard.

We loved this little cottage! Although it was just a bit far from the beach we loved it because of the lot. You are tucked away in the woods and it felt like we were in the mountains rather than in a beach cottage, although it was a short 10 minute walk to the beach! The owners clearly love their home and the decor was very homey! The kitchen was the star of the home with everything you would have in your own home, which for a rental was a rare find. We would have loved to stay longer if possible. Warm and charming is what I would call this rental. The only negative is that there was no golf cart and the interior decorating was dated and old fashioned but I think that also made it feel cozy. I think with a golf cart and some staging it would have been perfect.

Check in is @4 pm sharp! Get there earlier and you will wait ! If you plan on cooking at the property bring EVERYTHING you need. They don’t even supply salt n pepper! There are no condiments at all. We have rented many places and this one was the least well stocked, but they do not have to. That I understand. No tissues . One garbage bag for four elderly renters for 5 nights. Two beach chairs for four people! Bottom line… it’s all about the $$$$. Not a good renting experience!

Great holiday time
Six family members stayed for a 5-day July 4th weekend. The Florida panhandle was extremely crowded with tourists. The location allowed us to stay in a quiet place, but close to beaches and all attractions. Very enjoyable.

Our favorite getaway
Spectacular from start to finish. This was our second stay in two years and we will be back! Short distance to beach. Shunk gully is closeby for a solid lunch or dinner. The secluded location was very peaceful!

Santa Rosa Beach
The area and beach was low key and in easy reach to white sandy beach( though with umbrella and a few chairs in I hand, a car is necessary) After staying in 2 VRBOs previously, we did not like the intermediary of Vacation Haven which we found rather impersonal and not knowledgeable with local area. The house was pretty and spacious, reasonably priced, AND there were some things that were off- putting: the house was not well- stocked ( e. g… no salt and pepper, no toaster, the soaps and such provided by Vacation Haven were poor) , the outside presentation was not great( dead foliage around). All comments based on prior VRBO stays. The beach was beautiful however we were unable to dive in due to rip currents … no fault of anything except climate changes probably! Thank you for allowing us to have good family time. The Yoders

Okay But Needs Some TLC
The good things about it: Location- This is by far the best thing about the place. It's on a quiet street, easy walk/bike to beach, restaurants, and shops. It's a 10 min drive to Blue Mountain and Grayton. The bathrooms- each bedroom has it's own bathroom and they have all been updated. The not-so-great: You are greeted with lots of pots full of dead plants and the walk from the drive to the porch is also lined with dead landscaping. They even left the pruning clippers in one of the pots with the dead plants on the porch. Every other house on the street has a well manicured lawn and cute potted plants on the porch...except this one. The couch in the living room is completely tired. It's cover is stained and dinghy and the cushions are old and beat. It is uncomfortable and not clean. The TV in the living room has to be unplugged and then plugged back in every time you turn it on in order for the sound to work. The bed linens are cheap and feel like tissue paper. The house overall is super dark inside. There is no direct sunshine to any of it, even the porch is shady all day. Could be great in the summer heat. It was chilly and dark for spring break. While it has loads of kitchen utensils, there is not one condiment in the entire place. Not even salt and pepper that we could find. Overall- you are paying for the location, which, again, is fantastic.

Excellent equipped kitchen, enjoyed cooking together. Liked the layout of the house. Close to beach, short walking distance. Goat feathers restaurant is very close also. A few things wrong with the upstairs bathroom couldn’t be fixed while staying there, service man came out the next day but didn’t have parts needed. By far the best place in this area we have stayed.

Great house!
This house is in a great location. At the end of a dead end street, the screened porch looks into the woods. Very private and quiet. Shirt golf cart ride to the beach or restaurants. The management team was awesome, Christy went out of her way to help us with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Location, Location, Location
We've never been to Santa Rosa for a stay but have been to Santa Rosa many times. The location is very peaceful and much more different from the other side of Destin. We were very close to the beach which was a plus. And because of the time of year, the town wasn't crowded. The home was very big and spacious for two couples. We spent a lot of time there cooking, eating and playing a number of games. Would highly recommend.

Management responded quickly to questions regarding beach umbrella by having someone drop off the next day at the door. Well stocked kitchen to prepare tasty family meals. Decor is beautiful and up to date. Loved the yoga mats and light hand weights provided for mini workouts. The best part is the screen in porch!!! Thoughtfully planned and curated homey comforts for the best stay ever.

I absolutely loved this place. Nice bedrooms, all with their own bathroom. Place was very well equipped and updated. Spent a lot of time visiting on screened in porch. Fans in every room and porch too. My only dislike was distance to the beach. Easily walkable but difficult with chairs, umbrellas, bags, and coolers. We drove to beach access and dropped everything off. I would definitely book it again!

The house was nice but all three of us definitely sensed that something was off. We didn’t talk about it until afterwards and we realized that we may have experienced a slight haunting. Nothing too crazy but if you’re sensitive to energies you may want to be prepared.

Quiet and Relaxing Stay
The property is the last house on a dead end street. The screened-in patio backs up to several large pines and magnolias and is furnished with a grill and multiple sitting options. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the patio. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, plates, etc. and allowed us to do most of our meals from home. The three bedrooms comfortably fit our family of 6. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and were adequate to meet our needs for the week. Our favorite part of the house was the upstairs loft. We enjoyed reading, exercising, and hanging out in that space. The house comes with some basics that you'd want to take to the beach--umbrellas, chairs, and an ice chest, as well as a cart to pull it all. It was about a half mile walk from the front door to the water, so really not bad at all. The street was quiet and our stay was quite relaxing. We were very pleased with home and hope to return again someday.

Absolutely perfect
We frequent 30a 5-6 times a year snd this house was incredible. Plenty of room for 3 couples. The public beach access was very easy to use as well. All of the great restaurants are nearby and we look forward to re booking later this summer! Thanks!
