Why did I pay 2 times for 1 night?
The room was clean and comfortable. We slept and left. We reserved the room on Hotels.com. We also were charged by the hotel for the room. Not sure why Hotels.com lists hotels that don't accept the paid reservation. we stayed sat night sunday am

Clean, simple. No amenities.
Rented room for an employee who lost his power due to a storm. Property tried to over charge for small dog. People weren’t very friendly. Place was pretty clean and works for a nights rest, at best.

When you need a place to lay your head
At first glance, it doesn't seem like much but the room was clean, the linen had a nice scent. The room exceeded my expectations. Definitely would stay there again.

The property was clean but my room was terrible. Pillow case and sheets were yellow, the tub was dirty, the room smelled horrible, awful experience not booking there again.

Super dirty. No restaurant, bar as advertised.
The staff at check-in we're very nice, however, the room was pretty sketchy. Also, the trash was overflowing, there was a used wash rag still in the bathroom, there was pee on the toilet, the walls were just covered in dirt, there were hairs sticking on the walls, the sheets were either stained or dirty, the desk had gross sticky looking stuff on it. It was probably the dirtiest room I've stayed in. I was afraid to use the towels as they did not look very clean either. But maybe they were. I would not recommend this hotel. Also they advertise having a restaurant / bar, but they are referring to a restaurant that happens to be down the road.

BUGS!!!
We were only there for about an hour. Got in the room and everything looked fine. Got into bed and found TONS of bugs and ticks in the room. Immediately checked out, will NOT be returning

Needs a facelift
The bed was comfortable. I dont think the face cloths were vlean, the still had makeup from previous user. There was a raoch in the bathroom. The curtains were filthy. The owners were very nice and friendly though.

The room was large but had battered furnishings. The bathroom tiles were in poor shape and hadn't been replaced properly. When we turned on the bathroom vent, the light went out. There was frozen water on top of the refrigerator. The filling was coming out of the comforter was well as having big holes in it. The bath towels were very thin from wear with ragged edges resembling fringe.(I have better towels in my rag bag.) There was one office chair in the room. Would not stay there again!
