If you can pull yourself away from the beauty outside, you will find all the makings for a great getaway inside! The great room is the centerpiece for this home. With the kitchen, dining, living room all in one large space, it gives guests room to spread out while still feeling very much together. This kitchen is perfect for your vacay, culinary needs with an expansive island, big enough for prepping food and sitting/conversing with the cook. It also has all the staples including a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator with icemaker and more. Watch the game or your favorite movie on the Roku Smart TV or play games/share a meal around the table. For sleeping, three bedrooms are located on the main level. Slide back the large barn door to reveal the primary suite, designed with relaxation in mind. Here you will find a king bed and an adjoining spa inspired bathroom with a large, walk-in shower and soaking tub. Across the great room you’ll find a set of bedrooms with a bathroom. Area attractions - Uptown Athens and Ohio University are about a 25 minute drive. Historic Parkersburg and Parkersburg WVU are approximately a 30 minute drive. Enjoy a couple local wineries like Shade Winery and Pleasant Hill Winery or breweries in Athens. Outdoor activities at Strouds Run State Park and Desonier State Nature Preserve are a 20 minute drive or Hocking Hills is an hour away.
