The hotel was clean and friendly. The elevator is small, which was a bit inconvenient for the guest who carries large items. I had requested a king-sized bed, but the bed provided was definitely smaller than what I expected for a king-sized bed.

The place is located adjacent to businesses that cater to party crowds including "motels" not family friendly. Although it was interesting that in a couple of blocks you find a university and other tech research centers and labs. Getting in and out of the underground parking was unusually difficult. The carpet in the hallway seemed old, the windows in the hallway were open and the air was humid. The room itself was clean, no complaints there.

Solid Spot!
Top Cloud was lovely - clean, organized, and quiet. I was there specifically for work and was able to work uninterrupted, which I really appreciated! Not all of the staff speak English, which can be challenging sometimes if an issue comes up. Everyone is more than willing to help and are really friendly. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. The science museum isn't far. There's a bus stop close by as well so you can get around easily.

we stayed at Top Cloud for 4 nights and the hotel was wonderful, our room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was cheap yet tasty and filling and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Location is the only downside as there weren’t any locations close by for lunch or dinner (taxis are cheap and reliable though and can get you to the popular districts quickly). Barring the location, I’d highly recommend Top Cloud to anyone visiting Gwangju.
