Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
I didn’t expect the hotel to be so basic that you need to sleep on the floor with a futon. It was a very uncomfortable stay and the bathroom facilities was also very basic. Felt like a hostel. Anyway, I would say it’s a unique experience and something I would not do again!

Staff was very helpful to help purchased bus tickets for us and also collected for us.
This is the place to be if you want to stay at a traditional hanok. Beautiful grounds to take perfect photos. In the center of nghtlife and restaurants. But be aware that it's not that clean. They need to do a better job of cleaning the rooms and bathrooms as well as cleaning the sheet covers. Really enjoyed the stay but will only come back if they pay more attention to cleaning the interior.
I absolutely adore this place!
1. Location, location, location: close to many amazing landmarks, restaurants, bakeries, shopping etc etc.
2. Beautifully recreated old Korean houses.
3. The owner and staff are very nice. They will go above and beyond to help you.
We're so lucky to have found this hotel. It's beautiful and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was the perfect place to stay in Gyeongju.

Perfect location to travel the city !! Unique experience of staying traditional ondol room.
First of all, the overall experience was wonderful. Gorgeous facility and grounds.
I gave a 3 for comfort because of the cot / futons. We thought we were going to be on beds. The cots were not very thick so we were basically on the floor.
Would still recommend and would still go back. Just being an air mattress!!
The buildings are beautiful and the overall environment of the hanok is wonderful. It was fun to stay in a traditional hanok hotel, but don't expect to have a good sleep! The mats are thin and you can tell you're sleeping on a hard floor. But we came for an experience and that's what we had. The hotel is in a great location, we were able to walk to the palace to see the lights at night and felt very safe. Bathroom a little more rustic but the shower was good and strong.
Beautiful Hanok but only from the outside especially the night you will make nice pictures! Room Onden was clean, simple and small but I knew it before booking so thats ok. Only problem was this is not a real shower but just a shower handle who goes directly to the floor so if you shower the water will go everywhere on the floor and on the toilet. Except that great location close to many cute shops and coffee..
It is a fun place to stay. Korean families come to share with their children a Williamsburg type experience. Traditional dress is available for photo sessions. Traditional games for children to enjoy. Close to lots of historic sights.
