Hakata Tokyu REI Hotel has excellent connectivity with the Hakata Bus Terminal, JR Hakata Station and surrounding malls through its massive network of underground passes. Hankyu Department Store, KITTE Shipping Mall, Yodobashi Camera, just to name a few, are all within walking distance. What's more, you don't have to travel far to find Ichiran Ramen! Overall it is an excellent place to stay and definitely good value for money.

Located close to Hakata station is a plus. Room was small but clean. Laundry on site. Good value for money. Staff helpful though limited English.

Would try a different hotel next time.
The staff was nice and wanted to be helpful however the hotel was not ad expected. The dryer did not work at all in either floor so instead of seeing Hakata we were trying to dry clothes. Yes we know how to use a dryer. It could have been a bit cleaner as well. Very close to the train station which was nice.

Great location if you travel through Hakata station a lot. It is quite far from Tenjin so not ideal if you plan to spend more time in that area. Room is mostly clean but has various print outs and surfaces that simply collect dust. Biggest complaint about the room is the layout and lack of hooks in the bathroom. There’s barely enough space to open 1 much less 2 luggages.

Pleasant for short stay.
Hotel is about 5 to 7 mins walk to the Hakata Station. Close proximity to the Hakata Bus Station too. Breakfast spread is decent and delicious. Downside was only one washing machine on the 6th and 9th floor only. Long queue for laundry in the evening. Also, they do not allow luggage storage before arrival as we have to make short trip out to Yufuin and Beppu before coming back to Fukuoka.
