The interior was nice and the unit spacious. However the absolute garbage wifi was attrocius. Seriously it's worse than dialup and you're lucky if you get 5 minutes above 10mbs. I found the hallways in the premium tower loud at night. The breakfast was large and busy, but there's no English translations of anything so it's mostly a guessing game tbh.

Hotel is quite new and nice But only 1 key can be provided when check in because the previous customer lost 1. We request to have 2 as normal and staff just refused and asked us to accept. Finally we request for room change and they changed a bigger room with very nice view

Rooms in need of a renovation, peeling on bathroom cabinets, grime around shower. Shower spray broken and sprayed everywhere, so we used the overhead shower only. Service very sub standard! Our Japanese guide even mentioned how unfriendly the front desk were. We requested an iron, and got told to collect ourselves from reception. On the occasion I called the front desk to advise we had problems with the airconditioning- to be hung up on 3 times in a row- maybe because I didn’t speak japanese. For the price, I’m sure there are much better hotels elsewhere that don’t have an English language barrier.

The morning buffet is extremely good and at an unbeatable price. The onsen is clean and different pools with different functions and temperature is provided. The room is spacious and everything we got in this hotel is way beyond our expectations.

We booked two juniorJapanese Western suites for a family of 6. The suites were spacious, with a western bedroom with 2 beds and a Japanese room with futons. Each suite came with a spacious terrace. The bathrooms had nice big tubs plus shower. The kitchen was fully equipped. The washing machine was a big convenience. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Hakodate.
