Bed is bad, breakfast is good
The bed and pillow are hard. Breakfast is abundant and quite generous. Coin laundry is bad. You have to keep an eye on the washing machine if it has finished the work. Then put the clothes to the dryer. Washing machine costs 200 yen, detergent powder 30, dryer 100 for 10 minutes which is not enough for drying all clothes. I have to add another 100. Make me to and fro to check the machine and managing the processing. Very annoying.

The staff welcomed our group and they were also very efficient. Since we arrived early they held our luggage until checkout time. They also kindly held our luggage next day. The breakfast had nice mixture of Japanese and western food that tasted really nice! We couldn’t believe how good they all tasted! We stayed at 3 different Toyoko inn and this one had the best breakfast!

Nice hotel with friendly staff, it is very close to the train station and buses so it is very convenient. We enjoyed breakfast which is included in the price and has very good options.

We stayed here one night on our way from Tokyo to Nagoya. Great spot to stop and see Hakone as well. Great location close to rail station and bus stops. Excellent service and easy to check in and out.

I have no issues with the hotel room as it is very clean with good sized beds. However, the daily breakfast is not nice tasting even though it has great variety. The carpark costs 1000yen per night and the security person can be quite troublesome even though we have a specified lot but finds it hard to communicate that to him as we do not speak Japanese.

Property was really great. The rooms were very spacious. The one problem was the beds. The mattress’s they use are extremely hard. I didn’t sleep the first night and the second night, the staff put 2 duvets on the mattress for me for some extra padding. It helped a bit but was still hard. If you like a former mattress then you’ll be fine.
